Nothing is worse than if I come across an excellent summarised fic with sexy ass tags and then the first line is a clunky, grammatically off sentence that we're taught in high school on how to avoid

#i know i know im picky #but in my defence they used the word cold twice in a sentence and it was so clunky #its just a turn off #ive become too much of an asshole #but if both my high school english and my masters tutor would throw it out for the same reason dear god #it wasnt a dol fic or anything dw #this isnt a bitchy side comment about any fics from my beloved mutuals #dol has oretty well written fics ngl #slay you lil perverts #but it was an arkham knights fic and i immediately turned around and left after the first sentence #like cmon dog #reread your first draft and unfuck it #quinceyeasyspeaky
