okayokayokay this is the only part I've actually written so far but this has just made me come up with the plot for the rest of it so yay!!!! this might seem spoilery for the fic but it's not I promise hehehe

pairing: ricky/ej, I also break up p*rtwell for this one..... sorry (there's no shading for it tho I am not mean to them like Some People can be)

excerpt:

EJ confronted him as soon as they were alone. "What the hell was that?"

Ricky shrugged, knowing why EJ was so pissed but unable to feel apologetic about it. "I didn't do anything."

"Bull. Shit." EJ growled, pointing his finger at Ricky’s chest to punctuate his point.

They fell into silence, the anger fizzling out between them as EJ's shoulders fell and he turned to walk away. 

Before he could get too far, Ricky found words—ungraceful, stupid words—started tumbling out. "Do you love her?"

He regretted it the moment they left his mouth, but still, the expression on EJ’s face as he whipped back around made him wish, not for the first time, that he could undo this past year.

"What?" he asked, his tone sharp.

Knowing he had to go for it now, he repeated himself, his voice softer than he meant it to be.

EJ opened his mouth, then closed it again, attempting to glare holes through his head in lieu of a response. Ricky nodded, feeling slightly more confident at the lack of denial.

"You aren't in love with her, and she knows it. Gina’s smart, EJ," He took a deep breath, then figured since he was already here, he might as well go all in now. "She can tell you're not in... She knows you wish it was me with you instead."

EJ’s eyebrows flew up, and he takes a step forward. "How dare you—you have no right to say that to me."

He refused to let himself wince, instead taking his own step forward so they were in each other's space again. "I made a mistake, and I'm sorry. If I could go back I would have kissed you instead of shutting down."

EJ scoffed, "You can't go back and change it, Ricky. It happened. Move on."

"Oh, like you have?"

how very exciting right!!!! this one's pretty fun, I don't write these two as Enemies enemies a whole lot yknow and while they're not really here either as there's a lot of love involved but is still a pretty fun dynamic to write!
