#theres so much #its all abt comparing the tone of Charlie&Frank to Mac&Dennis much like in Macden Break Up #to illustrate how the romantic/sexual tension present between Macden is there but it isnt for Frank n Charlie #n how that typically leads audiences to be uncomfortable with Mac n Dennis in ways they arent with Frank n Charlie #even tho THAT audience are typically major players in why ppl like Dennis are so uncomfortable with expressing intimacy between two men #STILL!! he is a gay man who now knows he could be out n opem like Mac… but he also knows how the gang treats Mac differently (despite saying #they Wouldnt) n so Dennis feels its safer to stay closeted now… he fuckin Gets where Mac was coming from all those years before coming out #thats the whole THINGGGG #like Den wouldnt make eye contact w Mac in the bed cuz Frank instilled that rule #tho ofc for Dennis his reason for not making eye contact is still different from Franks #but he applies the rules all the same. shows how much control Den’s father has over him that Mac’s doesnt as much #which i SUSPECTED before s15 aired but THEN IN ROLLER RINK HE STRAIGHT UP SAID IT TO DENNIS #SO ITS LIKE CONFIRMED?? den wsnt looking at Mac not cuz he was uncomfortable w MAC #but bc Dennis doesnt feel like he’d be able to control himself.. he feels like if he LOOKS AT MAC in BED he’ll lose control #he’ll be all over Mac n those floodgates w all those homoerotic thoughts will be all over his fuckin subconscious #SEE IT DESERVES A POST I NEED TO GIVE HER THOSE FLOWERS i lov Gets Romantic i do #macden #parker texts
