Of course there’s always an element of nerves, going into a new stage in your career and releasing a new album. All I can hope for is that the fans think that I’m doing what I should be doing, because that’s the feeling I’m left with after listening to this record.

It does for me, that’s definitely something that I’ve found a lot of comfort in. That’s the part of the job that I love the most, that’s when you watch these songs come to life. I’m also blessed because I have such a great atmosphere, the fans are up for it at every single gig. So it’s just about trying to meet them in the middle with their energy really.

There’s definitely things that are more challenging because you’re dealing with the responsibility and the pressure on your own, be that on stage or the song writing, whatever it might be. But it does mean the pay off, the high moments, are arguably even higher because you can take full credit for all you’ve done.

I bit of the latter, really. I mean, I'm going into promo season now for the single and for the album but... there's an element of me being a little bit tired from all the shows we've done but honestly, the experience was so incredible and every show was so amazing, I feel revitalized, really.
