BIOGRAPHY

oz grew up in a fairly normal and happy human household. they knew about the supernatural and seemed to get along with everyone. oz was the sweetheart country boy who played for his high schools football team and went to church every day. nobody could truly hate him, or so he thought.

at the age of sixteen, he was invited to a kickback in the woods with a few of the other kids from his school. what he didn't know was that a group of witches planned on sacrificing him for some blood pact that they needed. although they tried to muffle his screams, it burned him back to life with a rage he'd never experienced before.

the witches realized what they did and quickly began to scatter, he'd eventually track them all down and brutally killed them one by one until he burned the leader alive in the same place he'd been sacrificed.

after that, he knew he wasn't the same. giving up football and church, oz discovered that his voice was even more beautiful than it'd been before. he had always been talented at singing but it was different now and he decided to abandon his life to persue music. without a word to his parents, oz left in the middle of the night to california where he'd form a band of sirens, banshees, and harpies; quickly got the attention of record labels who ended up fighting over them.

the bands freshman album was an overnight success, people were almost hypnotized by his voice and he grew a loyal but rabid fanbase. he'd find his way into the beds of married men, from hollywood execs to fans of his. he didn't care.

the band released more albums as time went on, becoming a mainstream success despite the numerous controversies they found themselves in. oz was known as a heartbreaker and various accidents began to follow the bands name, including the deaths of those who knew them personally and fans. the biggest scandal was when one of oz's biggest fans was found with his husbands dead body in their bed and people believed the man did it to try and win oz's affection. little did any of them know that oz specifically told this fan that killing his husband was the only way to prove his love for him.

after this, their record label was furious and wanted the band to clean up their image. something oz wasn't interested in. he still had a desire to burn the world down, no matter what the costs were. they agreed to leave the spotlight for the time being, work on a new album, and maybe rebuild their image.

he's been back in alexandria for a few months now and the itch to destroy more marriages and couples is still getting to him, now that he can't do it to his pool of fans.

artemis was the third child, second son in the finch family. he felt like he didn't need to worry about his position in their coven. he had his older brother, and then his older sister.

leadership was something he didn't need to worry about, but when his older brother lacked powers, he was closer in line to becoming supreme of their coven, which artemis wanted nothing to do with. he loved his magic, but he just wanted to have his fun.

after the death of their mother, it was clear that his father wanted lysander dead. he was a siphoner, a huge disgrace to the family, and he blamed the death on him.

artemis knew that his brother would never kill their mom. their mother loving all of them, including lysander, not caring that he was a siphoner. artie was there when it all happened, getting small flashbacks, but never the whole pictures, like some kind of fog was hiding the real truth.

after his brother escaped his own death, the remaining finch siblings knew that their own father had gone mad. but they were afraid to ever say anything to him, fear of how he would react.

years had passed, and it was clear that someone else had to become the supreme. phoebe was next in line, but she refused to be part of a coven that would kill their own without trying to find the truth.

artemis and apollonia were next in line. the twins realizing that one of them would have to become the next supreme. it was clear though that his father had favored artemis, and artemis felt like he had this burden he had to carry. the crown falling on him, but he never wanted it in the first place.

even with the whole witch thing happening, artemis was focused on living his life, trying to find what he wants to do with his life. so when he told his father that perhaps alexandria could be the best place to be, he was given the permission to move out there and investigate if anyone may known the whereabouts of his brother.

when he discovered that his brother was there, he informed his father the opposite, saying he may need more time in the city.

he hopes that lysander would let him in his life, and hope that with his help, they could siphon the magic that was blocking his memory, so they could find the truth of what happened the night their mother was killed.

Hubert hated his name growing up, because it sounded like an old man’s name. His father said something about his name having an important meaning to the family but that tends to not matter to a young boy. His best friend Rictor Attano, who was like a brother to him, thought it was funny at least. So he reluctantly settled with the nickname ‘Hugh’.

His family has always been very close to the Attanos, disturbingly so. They went where the Attanos went, assisted in whatever the Attanos needed and all important decisions were made after consulting with the Attanos. Young Hugh didn’t think much of it. His father was the Attanos’ family lawyer, and he could always be with Rictor. 

The truth reared its ugly head when Hugh turned fifteen. His father took him down to a family crypt which he didn’t even know existed. There, an ancient ritual was performed at the end of which, his father simply collapsed and stopped breathing. Before Hugh could panic, his mind was flooded with memories and knowledge. A voice not his took over him and he blacked out. When he woke up, he was back at the house and everyone treated him as the head of the family. To his surprise, Hugh knew what he needed to do and how to do what his father did. And from the knowledge and memories that weren’t his, Hugh learned the truth.

The Higgins family prided themselves as the progenies of a legendary valkyrie Brynhildr. Whether that was true or not, at least that was what they claimed. As familiars, they shared an age-old duty. serving the bloodline of Sigrid Odinsdottir which in the modern day went by the name of Attanos. The Higgins put this duty above all else. So much so that their progenitor, Monrad Brynhildsen, had crafted a spell to pass down the collective memory to his successors. This memory, after absorbing the knowledge and experiences of his successors for centuries, had become an entity of its own. A successor who received the ancestral memory would slowly lose their sense of self and personality, and would eventually be taken over by the personality of Monrad.

As a successor of the Higgins family and Monrad’s memory, his fate was sealed. His personality and identity as Hugh would eventually be taken over by his progenitor and disappear. The worst part was that as the time passed, it became more and more difficult to tell apart his own thoughts from Monrad’s. 

Throughout all this, Hugh still remained by Rictor’s side as his loyal friend and advisor. He relocated to wherever Rictor went, assisted in whatever Rictor needed and made his life choices based on what Rictor needed and wanted. Just like his father and everybody else who came before him, just as Monrad wanted.

Recently, Hugh moved to Alexandria following Rictor. He has been researching a way to undo the memory spell that binds Monrad to him. Hopefully, someone in Alexandria might have an answer for that.

Short lives. A consistant curse for Lucas. In not one of his cycles has he made it past fourty. Never once seen what it was like to age beyond such a small fraction of his potential. Wings clips, body rendered useless, time and again he finds his spark extinguished, and just as often he finds himself reborn. Sometimes it takes time, sometimes it's all but immediate. Regardless, he comes back. Over, and over. And every time, it comes to an end. Somewhere along the way, he started feeling like it was a self fulfilling prophecy. That it had happened so many times that it was now on him, he somehow kept fucking it up.

Lucas also slowly started realizing that those very first memories, of the parents that brought him in to this world, or sblings he'd never get to see again, had started fading away. He knows he had them, knows that at some point he was loved, but he can't remember their faces. Knows that he wasn't an only child, but… Nothing solid. Nothing more than some flicker of a memory that occasionally sparks to life.

His most recent reincarnation wasn't born within the halls of Alexnadria, but found himself gravitating to the place soon enough anyway. He can only hope that… He spent cycles alone, and that was unbearable. Even beyond short endings, not giving himself a chance to be around others was too much to bare.

Not a lot is known about Joseph Yearwood. He must've been born once upon a time, clearly - but it's difficult to say how long ago that's been. He's not the sharing kind-of-guy, but it's safe to say that he grew up in a small pack of void foxes. His parents both were, his grandparents were and everybody in their lineage had been. It was an honor and a blessing to be born as one as well.

The Kukan differ from the other foxes in the world, they do remember their humble beginnings as the Inari messengers who swore to protect the humans and some somewhere out there might still chase the old codex, but the Kukan don't.

Made from a different kind of fox, they're natural hunters and illusionists. They live to wreak havoc, they hunt humans because it is their right to do so. Because humankind is weak and should pay their kind the owed respect. Instead, foxes of all kinds have been hunted for their pelts for centuries. When respect isn't shown from them, why should the Kukan?

They are not backed by the other kitsune, at least not officially - some .. feel and sympathize, surely. Regardless of that, the Kukan have existed for a long, long time. They embrace the power of the fox. While the ordinary fox will shapeshift and take human form to mingle and fall in love, the Kukan ... don't. They shift, they take human form - they are excellent Shapeshifters, too. They don't struggle hiding their tails, although dogs are still their sworn enemies and the only thing that can mess with their illusions. But the Kukan don't strive to find love in humans, no.

They wreak havoc.

Possess someone of power, abuse it, see the world crumble. No better feeling than that, is there? Possess someone who deserves only the worst, make their life literal hell. Foxes are said to be mischievous and their tricks are only played on those who are deserving. Well, every human deserves to suffer and it's upon Joseph and his siblings to fulfill their destinies.

It's not known how long Joseph has been traveling the world to do just that, but it is safe to say that ... there have been countless of casualties to pave his way. He doesn't regret a thing. Humans are only good for one thing: To worship his kind. There is a reason the humans built shrines featuring the kitsune all across their lands, right? Exactly.

Foxes... earn their tails in different ways. It depends on their kind. Joseph earned his in the only way that's true to his ancestors and clearly they looked down upon him and granted him one after another. The fur of a Kitsune's tail withstands the tides, so he's hiding his most precious treasure in a bag woven of fur from his very own tail, so that it may never tear and nobody other than himself may ever get his hands on what's inside.

Joseph learnt to use what he has to get what he wants. He's got a way with words, he's got that special kind of pretty the old legends say foxes have that is just irresistible to the humans and some Supernaturals alike. Evern Snow ( last name wasn't the one they were born with ) was born in Russia and from the moment they were born their future was already planned.

Evern's mother was the familiar to Anna Golubev, the wife of Dimitiri Malikov. Because of this Evern knew that one day they would be one of the Malikov twin's familiar.

When Leo Malikov turned 16 they were bonded as witch and familiar even though Evern was still basically a child. Their magic was strong for their age and Dimitri was a cruel man after his wife passed so Evern had no choice but to bond.

Thankfully they have a close relationship - not sexual at all - with Leo and the pair found themselves to be similar souls.

when everyone was focusing on new technology in the 1300s, alfonso was still focused on healing people

at first it was through natural remedies passed down by generations and then his mother was labeled a witch for those same practices

he decided to flee from his home and settle down elsewhere

that was where he met isaac and it was an instant connection

he didn’t know that the two of them would be hunted down together when they decided to get married 

between the witch hunters and the fire that broke out, alfonso met what was supposed to be his end

then his husband came back to the scene of the crime after he was resurrected and his tears had a similar impact on him

due to the time that had passed and the talisman left by the hunters, alfonso was revived but ended up being a half ghost 

that did somehow allow him to spend the rest of his life with isaac though and followed him everywhere

he kept on with his medical profession, sometimes working with hospitals and other times working with the first responders

when they arrived to alexandria, he decided to work alongside the paramedics again

soon enough, he became the captain and was in charge of the whole group 

it’s tough work at times, especially with this group of misfits, but luckily for everyone he’s up for the challenge

BIOGRAPHY

bayram was born to a working class family in istanbul. the family lived in a community of harpies and other similar creatures who looked out for one another. most of his early life was spent with his brothers, playing in the city streets while their parents worked. a lot of focus was put on teaching the boys how to properly control their gifts, and to keep these gifts hidden from the public.

when he was eight or nine, one of his brothers accidentally revealed his gifts when he was ganged up on by older boys who taunted him. after clawing away at them, bayram grabbed his brother and they fled to return home. the official story was his brother had a knife and defended himself, though this would eventually isolate them from anyone outside of their community.

bayram would eventually come to america for school, he'd been accepted into a nice high school via an abroad program. while staying with his 'american' family, bayram missed his family and his home. he also struggled to keep his powers under control, though he'd find an empty meadow he spent a lot of time to let his wings spread.

eventually getting into a decent college, bayram spent the next four years mostly restrained to his dormitory. he could remember his mother lecturing him about not getting into trouble or drawing attention to him, since he had more to lose than the average american student.

he'd graduate with a double major in broadcasting and music and spent the next few years working at various radio stations though he missed home. at the age of 25, he returned home to visit his parents and try to bring them back with him to america.

a few years ago, he heard about a town in the south that welcomed supernatural creatures and stopped by to investigate. discovering creatures could be more open here, he returned to get his family and together they moved to alexandria. he's gotten a job at the radio station as a host for one of the more popular shows.

julian cortez was born on november 2nd, 1998.   as siphoner, it was very ironic that his birthday ended up being on dia de los muertos.   how ironic it was that he himself was a little dead inside knowing he had no powers of his own. he wasn't fully there.

julian was born in a powerful witch coven, one that was proud of their powers. and julian was excited for when he would show magical abilities of his own, but when nothing came, he felt like the odd one out amongst his coven.

the day he discovered his powers, he was terrified.   he had the ability to do everything witches do, but he had no actual magic of his own. when he siphoned his older brother, that was when everything changed. he was only thirteen.

that whole time, he stayed quiet about his powers. he knew what it meant to be a siphoner, and his older brother was so protective over julian, so he kept it quiet, telling julian to keep acting like he was just human and the magic had skipped him. that was better than their parents finding out the truth.

his older brother made sure that every morning julian can siphon a little bit of magic for julian to store for the day, so that he can use it for protection. and most times julian just practiced his magic here and there before the magic was gone for the day.

for the next few years, julian did stay low. but he was so curious about his power. so he practice with the little magic that his brother let him siphon.

for years, julian felt broken, getting frustrated when the magic was gone, feeling like he wasn't whole.   but when he did nursing school, it had become the one thing that had helped him, because he wanted to do good, and thought the only way he could help was to ease those that needed it, help them to go on their way to a healthier and better self.

in college, he met a fellow supernatural, who never judged him, who got close with. with their help, julian got to siphon a bit of magic from him so that he could at least learn a little more advance stuff.

he graduated nursing school, even if it took longer than most.  but he did that.  and when he got a job offer at alexandria, where he was eyeing, finding out there were people like him. he was rather excited, knowing that he wasn't alone.

HIS FIRST LOVE:  julian and his first love had dated all throughout high school.  but what he doesn’t know about his first love was that he was a supernatural.  ( either he was a vampire or a darklighter ).   julian didn’t know that the other would eventually fake his own death to protect julian. julian never felt so heartbroken, feeling the loss of someone he gave his whole hear to. so when he moved to alexandria, he couldn't believe that he was alive and living in the town too.

EX BOYFRIEND:  julian had one other boyfriend in his life, but the relationship wasn’t as loved filled as it was with his first love.  at least at first it was nice, but it ended up getting a bit too much,  maybe the fact that he had found the other cheating on him.

HOSPITAL BEST FRIEND:  seeing as julian was completely new, he had no friends in the city.  so he gets close to some of the people in the hospital.   eventually he makes a few good friends at the hospital, but one he is closest with. they often go get drinks after work.
