Man star wars really has become the new mcu huh

#i feel like every two days i see a new spinoff series movie video game etc its soo oversaturated #& disney was always going to do this. it’s becoming as much of a money horse as the mcu of course they’re gonna milk it for all its worth #like even if some of it ends up being good it doesn’t matter…there’s too much of it. it’s just an overload of content that seems more like #a scattershot to see what sticks than a genuine effort to create good content like it’s just such a shameless cash grab #we don’t need a 50th miniseries detailing glup shitto number 50’s entire life and backstory we want these creative efforts to produce #original works in original worlds. but that means taking a risk that wouldn’t happen if you slap the established star wars label on it :/ #disney knows it’ll sell no matter how bad it is just like the mcu. they’re just beating a horse that shouldve died after the prequels #and it’s working. hell on earth we need to kill the rat right nowww
