Saw a vegan post abt how eating meat is unnatural cus u dont look at an animal and get hungry but if you see fruit you want it. But just. That is not a universal experience??

I look at my ducks outside and think they would be soooo tasty

And dispatching and eating the drakes would only contribute to the welfare of the very stressed and overbred flock

And I love animals so much and how closely tied humanity has historically been to their food. You love and care and tend to your animals and when it's time they will tend to you back.

#but theyre my bros pet ducks #so just like with the rats he became unwilling to sell #theyre pop will grow until theres so many sick birds hell just give up on them #idk im picky abt useless animals #and that loving them = no eating = lower qol #being forced out of my home tho so going to appt #so no more barn for dirty work :( #but ill be able to put real animals in the fridge #currently not allowing anything else cus my mom #who was so mad when i bought lamb cus theyre cute #and i think the current disconnect between animals and food also drives the idea the person had abt ppl not being hungry abt living animals #but the ranchers i know do #and i think its cus he has the familiarity of animal = food and hes followed the process w his own hands
