currently rewatching masters and wanted to talk about some underrated wang hu zhong dynamics I noticed that I really enjoy

I really like the really high respect that chi yun and mei mei have for each other. Obviously with their first appearance, it’s clear mei mei respects chi yun a lot, kinda treating him with some authority, but chi yun also takes a lot of pride in mei mei too. He’s open about encouraging her and praising her strength, and the two of them together just have a really sweet dynamic. They’re super opposing energies but they get along really well and are clearly really close and they make me happy :]

I also love Daxiang and Chao Xin together. They have such eldest sibling- middle sibling energy and it’s so amusing. Early on, Chao Xin is kinda treated as an enigma to even the team themselves, but Daxiang is the one who knows how to get under his skin the most and it’s really funny to me. Paradoxically, he uses Chao Xin’s repulsion to taking things too seriously to motivate him and pretty much force him to battle. Seriously, just listening to the way Daxiang makes Chao Xin battle Masamune like an older brother being stern with his younger sibling is really hilarious and I love it so much. It’s really funny to me in general how well Daxiang is able to understand people and subtly manipulate them and it’s just so amusing when he’s teasing Chao Xin and bruising his ego to get him to do what he wants.

In conclusion, they r fambily and I love them with all my heart
