I’ve lived next to train tracks for years!! Years!! Like decades years!! And today tofuckingday was the first time ever I was afraid that the train was going to derail due to the noises that were coming from it.

#y’all at first I thought it was some random person dragging a shovel against the street #but then it got louder #and the house started shaking #like if I had not lived in California my entire life I would have thought it was an earthquake #yes there are different types of shakes #but like the train made this 100+ sturdy ass house shake #to the point where I ran out to the backyard to see if the train was going to #to see if this train was about to fly off the tracks #anyways now I’m in bed and the train is stopped #so I think I can sleep but my brain is saying I should stay up until it leaves #so I’ll probs be up until 3am when the next train is scheduled to go by
