whenever i try to draw alphys its like im walking a very fine line between her and sonic the hedgehog. turns out trying to base her on a very spiky lizard does not help

#trousled rambles #yall know how undyne was based on a dunkleosteus right. armored fish #so i was like HM if im doing a swap alphys maybe it should be an armadillo lizard #which yes i do like but also i think i will probably put most of that into her armor design bc she Needs to be soft its so important 2 me... #small scale details on her face will be there at least #as well as some extra spikes that kinda sorta amplify the hedgehog likeliness but shhhhhhhh its ok its fine dont worry about it
