could i please request some poly diamonds x reader and how they show affection for them?
Blue loves physical contact, showering you in affection by picking you up and holding you close or gently kissing you gives her a rush of happiness and warmth, even just holding you or letting you sit in her hair makes her too happy for words.
Yellow is less likely to fawn over you in the way Blue does, she prefers to encourage you in your endeavours or pursuits, finding time to actively listen to what you have to say and occasionally giving you a rare compliment.
White isn’t very well versed in appreciating people, so she substitutes her lack of understanding in how to express her feelings by showering you in gifts, lavish and expensive presents are her specialty and she’s constantly giving them to you in an effort to communicate just how much she loves you.

How about something with Blue Diamond? I'd imagine she'd smother the reader in affection, but once you try to leave either guilt trip you or get really mad.
Tumblr media
You are anons after my own heart (I usually like to answer my asks in order but when this one came in I just had to answer it first)
It was a peaceful evening in the woods near your house, the sun was setting creating a beautiful horizon. It was as you were admiring said landscape you became faintly aware of the sound of crying. You figured a kid had gotten lost or something so you followed the noise.
To your surprise, you stumbled into a clearing, the ruins of a massive decreipt planquin rested in the centre, next to which knelt the tallest woman you had ever met. She towered over you, her face was shrouded by a hood, and the only visible part of her face were the tears tracking their way down her cheeks.
Burning curiousity overtook you and you approached her, hoping to find out what was upsetting this imposing figure, and possibly comfort her. She was surprised by your presence, and as you got closer you got more and more of a sense that this being had experienced more suffering than you would in a dozen lifetimes.
Upon being prompted, she told you her sorrow filled tale. What gems were, how she lost the one thing that lit up her life the most, shattered before her very eyes by one of their own people. (You weren’t exactly sure what shattering was but you assumed it was death for this alien race). How everyone grew more distant, how devastated she was by everything. You helped ease her worries a bit, letting her unleash her floodgate of emotions.
It was after she’d calmed down significantly she said something very strange. “It’s a shame. There’s a geo-weapon locates deep in the core of your planet. Soon it will emerge, destroying all life on earth. But you don’t deserve that do you? You’re different to those other organics. Exquisite.”
You were about to politely decline, saying you’d rather die surrounded by friends and family than live without them, but the second you started to shake your head, fresh tears streamed their way don your limited view of her face. She gritted her teeth as a wave of sadness crashed over everything in sight. The air became suffocatingly damp, as everything was tinted a shade of blue. You saw out of the corner of your eye the second smaller blue lady accompanying the first fall to the floor, sobbing quietly.
You began to have second thoughts. How long had she been in mourning? It didn’t seem like the place she came from had any form of therapy and from what it sounded like gems weren’t exactly the most sociable race. You could be the only one to help her. Shame rested in the pit of your stomach. Before you could stop yourself you found yourself nodding your head in affirmation. The air instantly cooled, and everything started slowly fading back to its original colors. A smile of genuine happiness shone on the woman’s face as she lifted back her hood.
“An excellent decision.” She carefully and lovingly picked you up in her hands, cradling you like the most precious thing left in this world, as she called down her own form of transport, as dread crept up your spine, realising too late you had made a terrible mistake.
Ever since she first saw you at the remains of Pink’s Palanquin, nervously looking up at her with fear and curiosity in your eyes, Blue was enamored instantly. You were different to any of the humans in the zoo, and you reminded her so much of Pink. Whatever it took, she was going to keep you.
