it's been months, but i still CANNOT believe they: 1. made 13 wear rainbows 24/7; 2. made najia ask if the doctor and yaz were dating after spending 5 seconds with them together; 3. had yaz stare at the doctor in a very homosexual fashion from day 1; 4. had the doctor stare at yaz in a very homosexual fashion from day 1; 5. had the whole "the doctor is the universe" metaphor going since pretty much as early as aituk; 6. had yaz be obsessed with the doctor and emulating her since s11; 7. had the doctor be extra show-offy when in front of yaz on a few occasions; 8. had the doctor agree to meddle in yaz's family history, just as 9 did for rose; 9. had the camera point at yaz, then refocus on the doctor, while graham was talking about him and grace only having 3 years together in twwfte; 10. had the doctor be flustered and socially awkward around yaz's family far more than she was around any other people in the previous three episodes - and then, with all of that being in season freaking 11, they are telling us they didn't plan it???

they are either lying, or it's fate. there's no other explanation. either they planned the gay or the gay was just meant to happen, inevitable and unavoidable.
