Week 20.8/52: May 16th - May 22nd 2022 | Back in Edmonton!!!!!!! 🍦

Accidentally pulled an all nighter the night before my bus ride (most likely due to dress...) so ended up exhausted trying to catch my long distance bus. I was so tired and disoriented I legit FELL ON THE CONCRETE about 1 minute after leaving my hotel....... wack. Anyway, I was super early to my bus stop because I left at 5:50am so I waited for a long time. At 7:15am, bus finally started moving WOOO. It was quite empty... I spent most of the time napping because I was so tired. In total I probably slept around 1 hour during my 4 hour ride. After arriving, I met up with Vivan immediately because she came to the bus terminal (aka Southgate) to pick me up! Finally reunited after 4+ years!!!!! Legit haven't seen her since my last final exam (it was our community nutrition final hahahaha) LOL. 

We went to eat poke bowls in Southgate. The rice was hot and the ingredients were cold but it was very yum and filling regardless. A nice first meal hehehee. We walked around Southgate mall for a bit before we headed off to Bountiful Farmer's Market. So many different foods and things for sale in there. Afterwards, we went to look at the Edmonton skyline. The weather was so amazing!!!! Clouds were so pretty. We walked/hiked around the area for views and photos hahaaha. Next stop was ice cream at Yelo'd! I got their orange creamsicle soft serve with dark cone. So delicious. Vivian got the ube one and it looks so yum too. We walked around Whyte for a bit before heading off to our last stop aka U of A. First time visiting campus in 4 years got me emo fr....... it is so nice to be back in a familiar space. So much nostalgia. Some places changed a lot but other places still look the same. A lot of buildings were closed so I wasn't able to get in 🙁 but I still looked from the outside. Super fun and productive morning & afternoon with our filled itinerary... thank you Vivian for coming to spend time with me and taking me everywhere that I wanted to go!!!!! 🥺🥺🥺 hope we can see each other again soon heheheh ❤️
