he breaks out in cold sweat;  surely though innocent his query was, it’s no denying that the woman before him could easily take his life force away in a heartbeat. after all,  she bears fangs similar to that of his childrens’ back in his home.   his fists was balled in an attempt to fight his way through,   yet he cowers under her presence. ‘ I’m not one to hurt women but if you as so to touch one single strand of my h--- ’ && he blinks,  a blank expression came apparent on his face at her remark.                            so, he was spared? he mused.  unsure of how or what to feel about his predicament. however,  he cannot deny that he really isn’t prepared nor did he want to be blessed with what he deemed as a curse. ‘ oh, ’ he blurts out as feelings of relief washed over him, his hand rested over his chest.  ‘  -----aah,  that scared me a little. ’ he mutters under his breath, && carefully, his gaze locked onto hers with a timid smile to greet her by. ‘  my bad. i guess i misjudged you.  ’

       he disregards her attempt to mock his title once more && kept his cool facade in place;     a frown settle itself in his features  as he lets out a sigh of defeat.  such woman of recalcitrant nature is someone he thought of as difficult to deal with. “  think however you like ---- i’ve no time to care. ” irate hinted in his tone at the mention of a certain individual,  though brief, it still lingers there. his icy glare remained fixated at the woman he was speaking to,                  “  --- the sooner we talk,  the earlier this conversation ends.  isn’t that what you prefer most, no ?? ” he added, his back never leaving the frame of her door. “ or would you rather continue this baloney && waste both our time ??    be my guest.”

main. human verse

note: this verse is canon divergent and will not follow through events happening in the manga. the only thing that remains canon is kaname becoming human and that aside, certain things may occur depending on his interactions with and characters outside the series. please be wary of this as i will discuss and tackle a few things for the readers to understand his depth.

age; not specified but his appearance may look like he’s around 25 years or so. race/class: pureblood human. current state: alive and with amnesia. birthname: kuran kaname ( kaname ) children: kuran ai (biological), kiryuu ren (nephew)

behavioural characteristics

+ a human whose curiosity equaling that of a child. considering his predicament, kaname doesn’t have an inkling of who and what he was previously and his only source of information is the vampires around him who claimed they were his subordinates and his children.

+ unlike his former self, human!kaname is sympathetic and innocent to a degree. he believes that people are still good deep within their hearts despite their crude nature, a very naive way of thinking for a man who once lived as an antagonistic force of his time.

+ he doesn’t like the feeling of being indebted to someone else so he’ll find ways to return back the favor as soon as possible thinking that it’s the right thing to do.

+ surprisingly, he has quite a sharp tongue yet he isn’t seem quite aware of it.

+ often times however, he looks as if he is deep in thought but he really is just staring into space and nothing more though there would be some cases where he does think about things such as the memories he could no longer remember or the people in his previous life that he wished he knew yet he couldn’t no matter how hard he tries to remember.

+ he isn’t an exception when it comes down to mood swings. his feelings would vary depending on the situation or circumstances he faces. unlike who he was before, kaname can express himself openly and without an ounce of care of everyone’s judgment of his character.

+ he is clumsy and forgetful. the person he was is with poise and a regal standing, but the current him is the very opposite of his previous persona. he tends to slip (out of balance) more often than not and forget things here and there, much to his daughter’s dismay.

+ kaname isn’t aware of how he is viewed in terms of looks hence why he remains incredibly slow or couldn’t catch on any possible romantic attempts thrown at him. he is not quick at the art of flirting so it may feel like he is arrogant and not approachable. if anything, he’s just clueless.

+ he is very loyal to a fault, the only thing that cannot be taken away from him is his undying love and loyalty to the person he deemed worthy as his other half even if people may think it is nearing the obsessive territory to which he cannot deny even to himself.

+ he is quite a down to earth kind of individual much to his subordinate’s surprised since he used to be recluse and distant. someone who is easily feared and respected.

+ even if he does possess childlike qualities, kaname remains composed and collected though sometimes he is quick at jumping into dangerous situations because of his curiosity.

+ his patience isn’t that of a saint and there will be a time where he switches to his crude nature without meaning to and immediately revert back to being a happy go lucky individual.

+ he is very appreciative. one of his redeeming qualities that people often like about him.
