Old Spice Deodorant - $5.99 (0.43 hours of work) Notes - I coincidentally happened to need a bunch of not-foodstuff related items at a similar time. I get a different scent deodorant every time I get one, but I actually really disliked the last one I had. This time I made sure to actually double check I liked the scent beforehand. Also I think the price of Old Spice went up, I don’t recall it being 6 dollars. Value: Fine

Up & Up Dish Soap - $4.89 (0.35 hours of work) Notes - I hand wash all my dishes, even though I have a dish washer, just because its much quicker and honestly easier. I only have to replace my dish soap every 6 months because a single bottle goes so far, and store brand stuff works just as well as the name brand for much cheaper. Value: Good

Box mac and cheese is extremely budget friendly and also I enjoy it, even if its not very quality. Value: Good

Xfinity Internet Bill - $108 (7.71 hours of work) Xcel Energy Electric Bill - $64.51 (4.61 hours of work) Notes - Until this post, it may have seemed like I work more than I actually need to spend, this is dreadfully untrue however. The vast majority of my income goes to rent (upcoming) and utility bills (my pending water and gas bills are well over these two). These would not be as much of an issue if I had the foresight to realize my landlord is terrible and moved out months ago.

Heyday Wireless Earbuds - $10.80 (0.77 hours of work) Notes - My last pair of earbuds broke ages ago, and I finally went to replace them. Target, however, apparently no longer stocks wired earbuds. These ones were a gamble because I was going to be spending multiple hours in the darkroom later, except they weren’t charged at all anyways so I had to work in silence. Also, this type of earbud design is completely and utterly uncomfortable. Value: Poor

The local grocery store is running a promotion for 2 Rockstars for $2.50, which is a pretty solid deal considering Rockstar is already sort of the cheap energy drink. Value: Good

I forget this right up until I get to the battery aisle in a store when I need to power a new device. In this case, the batteries are for a couple of film cameras I got by coincidence. Value: Poor (but necessary).

Since I don’t have nearly any groceries in the house and these were on sale, it was a fairly easy-to-justify option for something to eat, especially for the 1-o’clock lull at work or during a long day on campus. - Value: Good
