It went from being morbid to talk about death to being considered solid financial and family planning.

I truly hate how often "You aren't crazy." is used as a reassurance that you are a good narrator of your own experience, and "We aren't crazy." is used as a reason to be believed.
Some of us are crazy. Are we not the best sources of our own experiences? Are we to tolerate the idea that we are not so that others can assure themselves that because they are not us, they are reliable? Are we to be silenced in favor of the idea of the sane and normal victim, when we are at a significantly higher likelihood than the sane to be abused medically, physically, sexually, financially?
We are crazy. We deserve to be believed and listened to. Nobody, not doctors, not our friends and family, and definitely not our abusers, knows what we have experienced better than we do.

Btw shout-out to disabled people who feel sexual attraction but can't have sex or masturbate. Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex or masturbate because it hurts. Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex or masturbate because they're dependant on a caregiver. Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex or masturbate because they're deemed "too mentally immature". Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex or masturbate because they would be bedridden for days if not weeks on end. Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex because they can't get into the right positions. Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex because once their partner finds out they're disabled they refuse. Shout-out to disabled people who can't have sex because they can't go out to meet people.
Disabled people are not your uwu sexless perfect babies or broken people incapable of sexual pleasure. We deserve to be talked about in all aspects of life and the fact we aren't taught sex ed besides from an able bodied and able mental standpoint is genuinely god awful. No one talks Abt this and we deserve to be seen

New rule, non muslims can’t say the word jihad. Until you stop conflating a word that means personal struggle with faith and temptation with terrorism youre just not allowed to say it.

Genuine question, but I often see DNIs saying "no non-Jewish Lilith devotees". I understand that Judaism is generally recognized as closed, but what about those who worship Lilith via Mesopotamian paganism? That is not a closed practice, and Lilith is featured there. Thanks to all who read, and double thanks to all who answer in good faith :)
Disclaimer: my personal practice has nothing to do with Lilith, Judaism, or Mesopotamian paganism, and I honestly don't know as much as I would like about them. I'm not looking to start any drama, please, I simply wish to educate myself further!

A panel of UN experts has condemned violence against women and children perpetrated by the Israeli military.
“We are appalled that women are being targeted by Israel with such vicious, indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks, seemingly sparing no means to destroy their lives and deny them their fundamental human rights,” said an independent panel of experts appointed by the UN Human Rights Council.
The experts slammed reports of sexual assault and violence against women and girls, including against those detained by Israeli occupation forces.
They added that women and girls in Gaza have faced enforced disappearances.
They also condemned the “appalling” treatment of pregnant women as a result of the Israeli bombardment of hospitals.
They noted that Israeli forces had also destroyed Gaza’s largest fertility clinic, reported to have been storing 3,000 embryos.
The report was drafted by special rapporteurs, who are assigned by he UN Human Rights Council, but whose statements are not official UN positions.

just wanna say as someone who's Aboriginal that I think First Nations peoples have every right to be a little angry at white leftists (NOT Palestinians, people blaming Palestinians stfu) who ignored our anti-colonial movements for years but are now supporting the Free Palestine movement. If you, someone living in the US, Canada or Australia or Aotearoa, are serious about the liberation of Palestine then you NEED to be just as serious about justice and liberation for the First Nations peoples' who's stolen and colonised land YOU live on. If you're not serious about where YOU fit in the paradigm of anti-colonial work, fix it. Here's a good place to start: if you're a person living on occupied Indigenous lands, learn who's land it really is, and how you can help them as an ally.
