What do I think of this new trend in AI?

Well to be honest I do not like it I think the fact they are putting it in everything is quite frighting. It’s in your search engines, your photo editors, the operating system on your devices and even on your LG washing machine.

I am also a photographer running the brand Imperfect Exposure and I will tell you one thing I do is strive to show people that photography can be taken by anybody on any device or camera. With this the rise of AI this defeats the purpose if devices can take photos for you and edit them too. Nothing at this point is going to be self motivated or done by human interaction and this is a scary fact. I think the artificial intelligence craze needs to be slowed down or at least not forced in the users face like Meta is doing with Facebook, Messenger and Instagram who opted to replaced the search function and friends tab on there apps. There AI which helpful in some uses cases but has no access to any essential Facebook features like making post, accessing your friends list or any other feature which would benefit it being integrated into their apps. Bing and Google have taken the search engine approach with slow adaptation of bringing it to their OS’s and smart speakers. Apple has rumors of reworking the entire iOS operating system to be based around it this is becoming an issue and I think we need to put a stop to it before us the consumer is replaced next!
