in terms of enemies, kyra’s first "big bad” is actually her grandmother, virln dox, or brainiac 4. virln learns about kyra when she and her parents visit the 31st century; she follows them back to the 21st century with the intention of killing kyra and then querl——if killing strangers causes her to feel good, killing her granddaughter and son will make her feel better. she forms the dark circle to assault earth and occupy other heroes, isolating them from kyra, orchestrating and manipulating events to learn kyra’s strengths and weaknesses since she’s half kryptonian as well. virln determines that kyra’s mind is her “weakest” point because she also has a weak heart and allows it to occupy her mind. kyra defeats her by planting a trap inside of her own mind, a computer virus, specifically programmed to only attack virln. incapacitated from the virus, kyra imprisons virln in the phantom zone.

  in terms of following any blogs featuring kara or brainy, I’m not going to assume that kyra is their daughter automatically [ their meaning that particular portrayal ]; the multiverse is a thing to be utilized here. basically, I’m not expecting for any kara or brainy blogs to adhere to that pairing in order for kyra to be their daughter.

          he’s been on kyra’s bed for over 𝙰𝙽 𝙷𝙾𝚄𝚁 now, ankles crossed one over the other, the interest in his phone long forgotten as the door opens to reveal his older cousin. ❝ bed empty, no note, car gone; where have you been, young lady? ❞

          With a mere glance, the lamp next to her bed lit up and shifted to shine a spotlight on him. “You were missing the light for your whole interrogation atmosphere. Now there’s no way I can possibly take you seriously as an interrogator.”

          Sprock. Kyra scolded herself in that she should have anticipated this. Of course, she had calculated suspicion into the mix... yet, she didn’t account for this, for the kindness and compassion, the urge to run towards a cry for help. There was no time, and the only defense she had to hide her everyday appearance was in the color of her skin. While she lacked additional features that would allow him to deduce her as coluan right then and there, she had also shown exceptional intellect as DEO recruit Gale ( hiding in plain sight, right beneath the noses of everyone she loved, hidden behind the last name featured in her mother’s favorite movie ) and knew that her own father was more than smart enough to put those pieces together. 

The chances that he would believe any lie she posed was egregiously slim to none. Better to come out with it then, “I’m from the future, like you, so choose your questions carefully.” Kyra hoped that would be enough to steer him free of questions she ought not to answer truthfully.

                     basically, my brain is a web browser. at any given time, I have at least eighteen tabs open, several of them are frozen, one never stops loading and I have no idea where the music is coming from.                //  KYRA DOX; daughter of kara zor-el and querl dox.

  kyra was born with blue skin, a trait obviously inherited from her father. her appearance hardly mattered to her parents and those who loved her, though they both knew it would be safer if she looked “human”. querl fashioned a bracelet for her that functioned as an image inducer. initially, it was connected to him, though control over it was relinquished to kyra when she had the mental capacity to know what it was, it’s function, and why she needed it ( which wasn’t very long in comparison to the developmental time frame of humans ). it wasn’t until years later that querl would teach her how to change her appearance without an image inducer.
