Yes. It is very frustrating thing ever happened. Simply type a command in the terminal "xfwm4" to restart the window manager.

Alternative Adobe Illustrator for Linux
I love Linux because it uses low resources and runs very quick on a outdated computers like my old Thinkpad X140e. However, finding good software isn't easy because the most of commercial software are only available on Windows and MacOS.
I found an application called Inkscape. Inkscape is a freeware (donation based) available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. It offers Linux and Ubuntu. I used the Linux AppImage for Debian (Kali) Linux. This app has many basic functions that Adobe Illustrator has such as drawing/editing path and colors. If you are looking to create logos, icons, and simple vector images, this application is way to go.
One disadvantage would be the shortcuts. Many shortcuts are different or hidden under the menu. But this app being free and running on Linux, it is a forgivable learning curve.

After installing Kali Linux
The first thing I realized after installing the Kali Linux fresh, the wireless adapter driver is not working by default. I remembered that the installing process asked about missing firmware that I did not have at the time, so I skipped. I tried to find resources and github but couldn't find or install codes properly. Later, I found out that I simply need to update/upgrade in terminal.
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt dist-upgrade
reboot
This will install all the missing drivers and updates. Surprisingly, ALFA awus036ach driver was included.
Happy Linux.
