what kind of practical steps would you suggest to make a mixed-sex locker room or bathroom safe for women? asking with genuine curiosity
i pretty regularly work in a building that has unisex restrooms and a unisex locker room for the fitness center. the bathrooms have full length doors that lock instead of stalls. the locker room has the actual lockers in a central public area but the showers are also individual and private and have full length doors that lock. people are instructed to change clothes only in one of the shower rooms with the door locked. everyone in public areas is fully clothed at all times.
this is obviously an across the board improvement compared to a traditional gender-segregated locker room with communal showers, since it meets the needs of people who are uncomfortable undressing in front of the "opposite" gender and people who are uncomfortable undressing in front of their own gender, and of course it also doesn't force trans or nonbinary or intersex people to make a painful and potentially dangerous decision about which bathroom or locker room they should use.
i don't think this is the only way for unisex locker rooms or bathrooms to be set up, but it's certainly the best locker room experience i've ever had.
"came back wrong" but no one besides the resurrected person has noticed, and they're doing everything they can to keep it that way. everyone cares about them so damn much and is so damn happy to have them back that they'd rather die all over again than reveal the truth. these people don't deserve to lose their loved one twice.
this honestly just came out of left fucking field i would have never expected to hear anything like this in this show. consider me Pleasantly Surprised tbh
