Acts 1

Things to note,

Even after Jesus had resurrected and appeared to his disciples, he was constantly teaching his disciples about what was truly important, the kingdom of God. For 40 days, the disciples dwelt with Jesus taking in every bit of divine instruction they could. In this same chapter we see something really profound. As Jesus was departing, he assured them of the promise of the father. He said the Father would send them a Helper who is the Holy Spirit to help them. It is very necessary to note God's mercy here, he came to us in a form of man going through every possible thing we can think of yet he prevailed over sin. He empathized with us, seeing our weak and vulnerable state. He promised the Holy Spirit to us who believe in Jesus as our Lord. The Holy Spirit, God's own spirit to help us. If this isn't mercy I don't know what is.

The past few days have been very hectic. The reality of that which is not seen but has a great influence on that which is seen just keeps dawning on me. Day by day I get to understand that all that is written in the Holy Bible were not mere stories but lifetimes of men who went all out and others who because of their sins(disobedience to God), fell. The word of God teaches, directs and guides us on this path we find ourselves on. It is time you understand that you need God in this walk of Christianity. Per adventure, you may have thought after the altar call, that was it. No brethren there's more to press for. The moment you accepted Christ, the Kingdom of darkness saw you as a threat. Do you know what this means? Allow me to refresh your memory. Scripture says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities and powers. Do not take this for granted, open your eyes to see what is around you. Soak yourself in scripture, live by the word and prayyyy, fam watch and pray always. This is a wake-up call!

I regret being away for so long. There's a sudden urge to tell you about something I should have a long time ago. I have seen and heard how many people continue to deceive themselves by saying there are many ways to God. The truth is there is only one way, Jesus. I see people on the daily spreading lies about the many ways and that you have to choose the one most suitable for you. That's a lie from the pit of Hell. If you follow their deception, all you'll get is death. Jesus says I am the way, no one comes to the father except through me. Isn't this clear enough? Let me break it down for you. There is no way by which a man can be saved except through Jesus the Christ. Let this sink in!!! There is one God just one. Don't be deceived by saying, despite people being in different religions, they all serve one God. That's a lie which will lead to your doom! Without Jesus no man is saved. If you're reading this, praise be to God who has looked upon you with mercy. Today is the day you are saved. You are free now in Jesus name! No spirit of deception shall cover you anymore. Acknowledge Jesus as Lord over your life today. May God bless you.
