*The Sensors notice my ship simply... Vanish*

I suggest not doing the latter.
Well then, I believe your Ship is departing soon.

A foreshadowing name. One whose shoes still have to be filled but also a promise.
Make sure that promise is fulfilled.

Well then, you two can transfer to the Imperial vessel and i'll take off in another direction.
Contact me when the tests are done or send a distress signal if you encounder issues.

Juli, your call if you want to go with the Imperial ship to see the tests yourself or if you want to do something else some counts for @goblin-wizard-in-the-making it's your decision where you want to be during this time.
I project the tests will take about one to two weeks and then the trip to the new rendevous point which is still to be determined.
I for one will take the time to scout for another project and do things around the island and beyond.

mhm, so be it.
The Test scope will be a flight test to an unsurpressed area, a test of general AI magical ability after arrival and a return trip to a new contact point yet to be transmitted.

Well a general test of Post battle repair efficiency during Transit and then the magic test, i'd say that is enough for the moment.
It would give a clear picture about the operational capacity and the State of AI in the Empire, i'd suggest to keep operations minimal for now until we have confirmed the previous points.
*i hold my thoughts for a moment, my face shifts a little*
But... i am not in command here, the vessel is yours Juli, you get to decide what happens with it. I slipped into old habits of fleet command there, but alas i only hold command over half of the fleet, if oyu even could call it that.

Well considering Lana will pick it up, so how ever fast an AI is.
And that would be possible yes but the question is how much sense it makes when we have two main contact reasons during the experiment. I'd suggest going to an Unsurpressed area, do a quick test and then meet up again. If anything goes wrong during transit you send a distress call and i'll come over.
You can of course send longer messages but even just short pings will be enough for the limited scope of the mission.
Considering the Flight will also take some time that'll give us the opportunity to attend to other matters.

Yeah, no.
We'll refit a fighter comms system from one of my disabled fighters onto your Imperial ship. The Communications systems are too different, which is what i suspected, to work together. The caveat is that you will only be able to recieve messages while only being able to send a Long range ping back yourself as the array is undersized and not made for the taks it will be forced into. But it is definitely more secure as it cannot conntect to Imperial communications.
But for the current situation that is enough, during your Test i want to scout something and send you new meetup coordinates when you Ping. A series of three Pings can be used a Distress signal.
I would also again ask for one of the drop ships to be transferred to the Resurgance for use as a shuttle and Planetary approach vessel.

If you're impressed by the few drones the Resurgance carries you should have seen what a Republican fleet tender could have done...
Anyways, well done.
Over how much distance can the Vessel hold long range communication?

mhm, online as in active or usable, some of the turrets are technically able to function just that they lack barrels to their guns for example.
I'm asking so specifically because i had a "Recovery Specialist" try to convince me a ship with most its barrels bent had functioning guns once since they could be accessed by the control software...

... Why not just... Paint a name on and give it a name that way....
Naming does not mean registering... Just... naming it.
Well anyways, i'd say get the guns in better shape before doing any experiments, you never know who comes looking for a missing experimental ship.
(OOC: well I just misremembered then! your ship, your image.)

So you don't give your Ships names before you send them on their Maiden flight?! What kind of lousy Naval Practice is this!
(OOC: the Railgun turret, didn't you say it was on top at the front of the Ship?)

I have seen the reports, before the ships leaves however basic defensive armarment should be brought online as well, meaning Point defence coverage and if possible reactivation of the bow-mounted Railgun turret.
We can't rely on the Resurgance for protection forever, the faster the ships own defensive measures can be reinstated the better.
Also, what is the vessel called? In comparison to Repiblican doctrine i haven't seen the Name Painted anywhere on it.

Yeah, i knew that, read up on Imperial AI development and deployment a few hours ago, that was slightly annoying to find out for other unrelated reasons.
But speaking of reasons that might as well be it. Although to confirm that we'd need to bring Molly out of the Magic supression field.

Maybe, i can't judge that, your AI works in a weird way.
It might also be that since your Advisor is connected to you that they get the access from you as well.
