Some Jaskier moments

I am in a jaskel mood today

It doesn’t take long for Jaskier to be dubbed “the Witcher’s bard.” After all, he’s the only bard who is always in the company of a Witcher and sings about Witchers and can be reliably called upon to tell people where a Witcher might be found if they have a monster about.

Jaskier loves it. It makes him feel connected to Geralt, and it makes him feel special. He knows it’s just him; he’s perfectly aware that Geralt rolls his eyes every time he hears someone call Jaskier the Witcher’s bard.

What Jaskier does not know is that when they’re apart too long and Geralt has been alone for a while, or in the springtime when Geralt hasn’t seen Jaskier all winter, sometimes Geralt will walk into a tavern and ask for a pint, and when the barkeep inevitably asks, “So, are you truly a Witcher?,” Geralt will say, “Yep. I’m the bard’s Witcher.”
