Trump willing to bully those struggling with depression? Seems like it.

Trump threatened to attack Heidi Cruz when an anti trump super PAC not affiliated with (and legally not allowed to even speak to) Ted Cruz posted a racy picture from years ago when Trump’s wife did lesbian pornography on Twitter. Which is really a terrible thing for the Super PAC to do but Ted Cruz had no involvement.

So what is the dirt on Heidi Cruz that Trump is threatening to attack her for? The one known bit of dirt on her was that in the past she struggled with depression and was once determined to be a danger to herself (ie suicidal). Trump seemingly threatened to make that a big national story.

Just one more reason it’s important that no matter what, no one of good conscience ever vote for Donald Trump.

8 Team Playoff - why it's a horrid idea

Gary Patterson, still upset over last year, is calling for an 8 team playoff saying “Any of the top 8 last year could’ve won the title” like that’s a good thing.

It’s not a good thing. It’s the primary reason to oppose an 8 team playoff.

Imagine team A is the best team in the country. Against another top 8 team they’d have a 70% chance of winning.

Imagine team B is the 5th best team. Against another top 8 they have a 30% chance of winning. Team B is the second place team in the conference of team A and clearly inferior to team A, all would recognise this.

Now imagine a playoff with 4 teams. Team A gets in (if the selection process is good) and they have to win 2 games to win the national title. At 70% apiece that means they have a 50% chance of winning the title. Not ideal but…

Now imagine a playoff with 8 teams. Team A has to play 3 games so now has a 35% chance of winning the title. The best team will now probably lose. Where did that 15% go?

About 3% of it went to Team B. Team B who playing in the same conference and division, all would say is worse than Team A.

Team A is Ohio State last year. Team B is Michigan State last year. This is in real terms what an 8 Team playoff means.

The truth of the matter is threefold

First: Celebrities have a tendency to look like each other because rather than being a random sample they're primarily whatever is considered beautiful. This contributes to both parts of this post as the people in the pictures are all celebs and a disproportionate subset of Asians that a random American knows the face of are also celebrities.

Second: Facial recognition is a part of the brain that learns pattern recognition. Without enough exposure to a given ethnic group, it won't gain the ability to differentiate the subtle differences in human faces.

Third: Americans are used to a very highly varied ethnic background among Caucasians from India to Iceland or among "whites" from wherever you define as being white. But Americans aren't used to the same diversity among Asians. Knowing only a small sample, they very easily may know primarily Vietnamese or Japanese or Han Chinese who will look more like one another than an Italian like an Irishmen.

So while nonsensical among a random sample of Asian people (I'm using the term here to mean Mongloid) who will not at all look "all the same" it's a true statement in their experience which might just be that one Han Chinese family down the street and some celebrities they see on TV.

Hell the one huge thing you can give muslims A TON of credit for (algebra) you say they only contributed to.
