âYeah that is what I am thinking as well, and like a car is such a powerful tool if you think about it as they do tend to run rather high in speed and such.â He said with a shrug.
âYeah but people are lazy. Sadly I think being safe is less important to some people than not having to do anything.â Aaron replied with a small shrug. People loved to do nothing.

âYeah, I personally donât believe in self driven cars. Like realistically if isnât a good idea. I mean, I just canât see how it can be considered safe.â He told him with a shrug.
âIt seems like a lot of accidents waiting to happed. Especially if some people have them and others donât. Sometimes science has gone a little too far.â Aaron replied, agreeing with the man.

âThat is where the world is headed unfortunately.â He sighed, âI get el cars and shit, but like the others would be a bit more hard to fix remotely.â He said with a shrug. âThat must be nice. I am just a creature of habit so I rarely step out of my comfort zone.â
âThe thing that scares me the most is how many self-driving cars there are going to be in the next few years.â Aaron replied, not trusting those cars to not make errors. âThat is the case for a lot of people.â

âYeah I actually hope that day never comes, because not everyone is skilled at engineering and shit like that, so people who maybe donât want to go to college need something to fall back on..â He shrugged. âYeah and then whenever they tell you about it they just pull out their phones and show you videos and such but I am like.. But did you actually experience it? You know?â
âYeah fair enough. Computers seem to be putting a lot of people out of jobs unfortunately.â Aaron replied knowing that society was always changing that way. It wasnât all for the best. âWhich is pretty annoying if you ask me. I like to live in the moment.â

Carter nodded, âOn some models, but most people in town canât really afford anything to fancy or they have their old vintage cars.â He added with a shrug. âYeah, except for when traveling but even then people usually live through the camera on their mobile phone.â
âI guess that is fair. Itâs going to be a long time before science perfects a robot that can do all cars.â Aaron replied knowing that cars were probably like everything else, where each one was different. âThat is true too I guess. People love to spend so much time capturing moments that they forget to live them.â

âYeah I donât think fixing cars remotely works to be honest. Maybe one day, but for now I need ot drag my ass down to the shop every day and sort out whatever issue there is.â He chuckled back at him, taking the beer he had ordered in between his fingers and taking a long sip of it once it was served.Â
âI am sure itâs only a matter of time. Donât they do some surgeries remotely now?â Aaron asked, feeling like heâd read that somewhere. Technology had come so far even within the last couple of years. âPretty soon most people will never have to leave their houses.â

âThat is fair enough. If I wasnât already committed to my work I would have left a long time ago.â He shrugged as he knew the circumstances hadnât allowed for it at the time, but things had changed and packing up to leave was getting more and more tempting everyday.
âSee, I can work my job from anywhere really. That is one of the main perks about it.â Aaron replied loving that he wasnât tied to any one place for longer than he wanted to be. âI could pick up and leave tomorrow if it wasnât for school.â

âAh right, that is fair enough then I guess.â He nodded back at him, âI guess if you want to stick around in Ashton the long term the town is constantly expanding.â
âIâll be here for at least the next few years. After that Iâll decide if I want to stay, or if I want to take off to somewhere new.â Aaron replied knowing he planned to stick here until he finished college at the very least.

âSo like, construct them and stuff, right?â He asked, ââCus you are not like an arcitect.â He added even though he wasnât sure how it all worked out in the long run, regardless it must be more interesting than what he was doing.Â
âNo I want to be the one that designs them. Not just regular buildings but the big fancy ones you see in cities.â Aaron explained knowing there was a lot of math and such that went into that sort of thing.Â

âEngineering huh?â He said, âWhat type of job are you looking into doing with that degree?â He added out of curiosity. âYeah you should! I used ot go there a lot but I donât really go out much anymore. I work too much.âÂ
âI mean at the moment I am just kind of finishing my degree as a backup plan. But I used to want to design buildings.â Aaron explained knowing he found that stuff interesting. âThat makes two of us.â

Carter shrugged, âEither that, or maybe you just donât hang out with the right crowd.â He responded with a slight laugh. âBut usually things are going down at Liquid and stuff. I have been there once or twice myself.â He told him with a shrug.Â
âFair enough. Iâm a engineering student. We arenât known for being the rowdiest bunch.â Aaron replied with a small chuckle. Most of his classmates seemed to take school seriously. âI guess Iâll have to go there next time I am looking for some fun.â

âNo?â He grinned, âI mean, it depends. I used to get into a fair share myself, but these days I am a bit surprised to hear that as there are college kids and such in town.â He added with a shrug.Â
âMaybe itâs more that I just donât get invited to a lot of the parties then. I guess all the twenty-one year olds think I am too old for their fun.â Aaron replied with a small shrug.

âRight, sounds to me like you need to get out more and make some worse life decisions then.â He teased him with a chuckle.Â
âI donât even know what kind of trouble you can get into in Ashton. There doesnât seem to be much happening most weekends.â Aaron replied with a small shrug. It was a pretty small town.

âYeah and that is the only way we can live and learn as well, so it isnât always a bad thing. Well, depending on what it is of course.â He chuckled back at him.Â
âMost of my bad choices involve food, so I am usually alright when all if said and done.â Aaron replied with a small chuckle. He was mostly just glad that his life allowed him so much freedom.

âI mean you only live once so I get that. I mean, sure making mistakes and such is one thing, but like.. I donât know; you need to make the most of what you have got.â He added with a shrug.
âYes, exactly. Sure Iâve done stupid stuff in my life but at the time that stuff was what I wanted. So I have no real regrets about it.â Aaron replied with a small nod. He was glad someone got it.

âOh, right, okay. Sorry just, like, totally got the wrong end of that. We can at least agree to dislike sports then,â Summer smiled. âNew Jersey, nice place. Unfortunately my only real experience of it is Atlantic City.â
âI just find a lot of them overhyped up and boring. Take football for example, it takes forever for anything to happen because someone calls timeout every two minutes or so.â Aaron replied shaking his head at her. âYeah, I grew up about an hour and a half from there.â

âYeah, I like that saying as well. I live by it to be honest.â He chuckled back at him as he knew he used to say it whenever his mom challenged him on it. Carter walked over to take a seat at one of the free tables, scanning the menu with his eyes, âI think the burger and sweet potato fries sounds good to me, honeslty.â
âI just donât want to look back later with all kinds of easily avoidable regrets.â Aaron replied knowing that it was impossible not to have any regrets, but he wanted to limit the ones he did have.  âMaybe that is what I will get as well.â
