I had the weirdest freaking Pokémon and Sonic crossover dream, man. For some reason Sonic and friends had become trainers, Shadow had a freaking BRIONNE of all Pokémon as his ace mon and he also had a some metallic suit like Sardonyx’s bounty hunter armor that he could put on and off at a moments notice?

Needless to say, I think I need help guys.

So… I guess I better update y’all on where the heckle I have been and what I am planning on doing to this blog, huh?

B-basically I’ve been obsessed with my Mewtwo rp blog [the one from the genesect movie, not the one from the first one] in the Pokémon fandom these past months. I seem to have an affinity for artificial clone gals with tragic pasts and super-powers. The Detective Pikachu movie only fueled my desire to write her and ngl seeing the first, unedited trailer of the Sonic movie kind of shot down my interest in the franchise. It didn’t help that my old computer crashed either, and I had to get a new one. But anyway, I gave the improved version of the Sonic movie a chance and it was incredibly cute to the point where it got me back into the fandom again. 

As for this blog, I am basically revamping it a bit. All the relationships Sardonyx has had with people’s muses will still remain intact, I’m just gonna update her overall personal story greatly, since I do not have the time to make it into comics and fanfictions like I originally wanted to anymore. [Adulting sucks, like that.] The theme will be updated immensely too and I’ll make an in-canon post explaining how her dimension was essentially cut off from others for a while. Oh also HUGE SPOILERS for her backstory, since I don’t have time to make it into comics, fanfics etc.

1. Felix and Gertrue Stripes know about her real name and have joined the fight against Alpha Industries, because of spoiler #3.

2. Sardonyx now lives on the island with the other AI experiments, due to the said company FINALLY figuring out where she lived.

3. Gertrue Stripes’ husband and Felix’s uncle, Azubuike has been found thanks to Sardonyx. Turns out he was one of the unlucky few who were kidnapped and experimented on by Alpha Industries in the Robotnik-ruling era. Unfortunately when Sardonyx encountered him he was a cyborg and essentially mind controlled by some experimental tech AI created. Basically they decided to test it by sending him out to destroy her as she was freeing the other experimented Mobians. Luckily for everyone Sardonyx used her minor telepathic abilities to free him from their control. He now is in one of the recovery facilities on Howard’s island. Also Sardonyx figured out who he was, and let the Stripes in on this part of her secret life.

4. Speaking of Sardonyx’s powers yeah, she can break others free of mind-control now, if she focuses hard enough. 

5. Sardonyx has interacted with her zone’s Sonic, again and she has gone on an important mission with her zone’s Team Dark, thus officially meeting Shadow. Their task involved infiltrating one of AI’s top secret facilities. 

6. During their mission they discovered AI’s CEO was not who he claimed. In fact he wasn’t human at all. HE WAS MEPHILES, IN DISGUISE AND FINALLY GETTING SOME SWEET REVENGE AGAINST SOME SHADOW. 

7. Mephiles of course eventually got into a skirmish with Sardonyx and Team Dark, revealing what he really was and gravely wounding our heroine in the process as she was disguised as the Dark Blur. This wound along with a trip to G.U.N’s intensive care unit, resulted in her origins being discovered and Shadow figuring things out on his own.

8. Mephiles visited Sardonyx’s dreams while she was in recovery. Basically being really creepy, figuring out she was his missing Shadow clone due to the mark on her back, promising to endlessly hunt her down no matter what cost, traumatizing her etc. This along with Shadow confronting her on her origins when she immediately woke up and tried escaping, caused her to snap at him, flee the hospital, hang up her Dark Blur persona forever and fall off the face of the earth for weeks. Turns out she was isolating herself completely on the island, due to her going through an existential crises that she was basically made by a demon. 

9. After an emotional confrontation and cuddling with Marcucio, she picked herself up and decided to face the world as her true identity: Sardonyx the Hedgehog.

➤ With The Sickness | Accepting

     {➹} – THE HEDGEHOG could hardly hold back a snort after that comment, turning away both in an act of defiance and so his friend wouldn’t see the blush on his cheeks, at least the part of it that wasn’t due to his illness. That much he knew he couldn’t hide from Sardonyx, at least not at this point, not when she had already seen him. Yet, for once, he didn’t mind. 

     “Oh, shut up.” Coupled with a weak wave of his hand the hero laid back down, drawing the blanket the female had gotten for him over himself again. He felt, rather than saw, his friend sit down next to him on the couch, likely to occupy herself with the book she had brought along. No surprise there, Arrow thought with an inward chuckle before a comfortable silence took over the apartment. 

     It was almost enough to get the hero to drift off, which was clearly Sardonyx’s goal, but not quite enough. It would be up to the female to decide whether it was done on purpose or not but the hero shifted where he was laying down, more or less in the middle of the couch, and just so happened to end up with the top of his head brushing against her. By the time he settled down again, the hedgehog was oh-so-subtly resting against his companion’s leg and showed no signs of moving. 

     The hedgehog was sick, Sardonyx was there to make him feel better, and that was the excuse he was going with.

Adventurous to a Fault [Arrow] 

     {➹} – ARROW THOUGHT IT WOULD BE quite interesting to see how his companion reacted to the rest of the castle. There was a reason it was called ‘Mystic Mansion’, with special attention on the initial word, but the surprises it did hold were all ones that the accented hero would keep secret. For now, he was more than happy to start leading the way to the dining section of the structure in question, leaving the noisy hall and bringing them to a much more peaceful setting as they retraced their steps back to the upper levels and through a side door that led them outside. Really, it was a wonder how the hero knew his way around the large building so well but one couldn’t argue with the results.

     As the pair exited the door, they stepped onto a high balcony overlooking the lower floor with an open view of the night sky and the land beyond the castle itself. In the distance the glow of the city could even be seen, looking oddly small from the perch but impressive all the same. Directly below them, within the castle walls, came the sounds of clinking silverware and the sizzle of cooking food amongst a general sound of conversation from decorated tables and vendor booths were people were standing in line for one food item or another. 

     “It’s not the best set-up, I’ll admit,” Arrow said, gesturing to the plaza below with a small shrug. It always reminded him of a school cafeteria more than an elaborate castle setup. “But I promise the food will be worth it. If anything, we can grab something and go before people get it int’ their heads that we fancy a conversation.”

        Since it was Halloween, Sardonyx hardly expected some kind of ‘mystical’ display NOT to occur eventually tonight. Granted considering how much people seemed to enjoy the theatrics which came with horror-inspired pranks, she doubted any of it would be real. However considering what situations female hedgehog went through after gaining ability to traverse dimensions, witnessing some supernatural event wasn't entirely beyond the realm of impossibility either.

         Keeping close to her companion, Sardonyx found herself slightly impressed that the hero found their desired destination despite this clustered crowd swarming around them. When they arrived at the mess hall, ruby eyes widened in awe at stunning view. While she doubted there was not a single room amidst this place which didn’t hold some opulence, areas duo had previously visited were overrun by festival’s attractions. Here on this balcony, she could get a solid sense of what haunting elegance lied within it. At the azure mammal’s first response and gesture, Sardonyx dismissed them with her hand to show that it was not important. Once his last comment reached the air, she chuckled.

         “Sounds like a plan,” she said, taking his hand in hers. “And since you seem to know this place so well, have any recommendations on what I should try Mr.Rock Star?”

Blog Schedules

Okay here’s the main reason why I haven’t been active on my blogs lately guys, to be frank me and my family our moving. We’re already out of our old house, now we’re just waiting for the former owners of our new one to pack their things and go. However there is one crucial detail I would like to mention:

My mom has stated that we are not going to have wifi at our new house for a long time.

Now I believe she has mainly done this for my nine-year-old brother, as he can be somewhat obsessed with youtube videos and the like but I can totally see how my lack of irl socializing may have contributed to that decision as well. I’m not a mobile role player completely though, so until we get some wifi I’ll go to a place where there is some and for three hours a day dedicate my time to work on replies and the like that being said MOST IF NOT ALL POSTS WILL BE QUEUED NOW. I’m also gonna hold back on re-booping any memes as well, unless I’ve found my drafts to be entirely cleared. That being said thank you for being patient, with me. You guys are all awesome sweethearts. <3

         This sudden offer and new spew of information surprised Sardonyx, as evident by her regarding Sonic alternate with raised eye-ridges. Needless to say though it appeared as if he was being serious about this matter, thus once done exhaling she then gave him her response.

         “If this event you require assistance with ends up becoming a threat towards a friend’s or my dimension, then of course I’ll help.”

Taking the Plunge [Arrow] 

    {➹} – ARROW GOT THE VERY DISTINCT feeling that the antelope wasn’t fully comfortable with him being there, which was understandable but bothered the hero at the same time. The latter feeling was mostly due to the fact he knew he couldn’t really do anything to change Marcucio’s stance and the fact the other flew away before the hedgehog could say anything else only extended that thought. Watching as they flew away, with some mild form of awe but mostly disappointment, the hero frowned before letting out a small sigh. Well, that could have gone better but he supposed it didn’t really matter. Far be it for him to force friendship on someone, especially one in this situation, though the hero did appreciate the fact a little more warning would be in store for the other island residents, namely for their own sake.

    Once the antelope was out of sight, the accented hedgehog turned towards his friend with a small smile, a brow raising ever so slightly. “Really? And here I reckoned you’d never want the two of us t’ meet, all things considered.”

    The hedgehog knew this, being the island and the people on it, was one of Sardonyx’s best kept secrets and he had little intention of spoiling that fact. That the female had told him about this place at all was something the hero had never taken lightly, and to this day he had never spoken a word about it, not even to his team. This was a big step, not just for the two of them, but anyone else they’d come into contact with today and that was part of the reason the hedgehog felt a sudden urge to proceed before he made things worse.

    “Let’s go get this over with, I guess…” his tone wasn’t overly enthusiastic as he looked at the looming building ahead of them but, despite the sinking feeling in his stomach, the hedgehog began walking towards it anyway. Though not before giving a look to Sardonyx that announced how appreciative he was that he didn’t have to do this alone.

         With them only having to rely on each other in those disgusting laboratories and being betrayed so many times, it made sense that fellow experiments felt reluctant towards meeting new, normal people. In fact Sardonyx was fairly certain that the only reason most were so friendly towards her happened to be because she rescued them, from such austere conditions. Though how they initially felt towards the numerous doctors and therapists on island was another story, but usually encouragement by her or Marcucio would coax them to try and get help. 

         Seeing the hero’s expression when Marcucio flew away was somewhat disheartening, but it soon became overshadowed by slight amusement at his reply. After giving him a brief small smile, sentient clone turned back towards hospital with frown now upon muzzle. Hearing his dubious comment, Sardonyx then took it as her cue to move forward. When spotting Arrow’s look of gratitude, she grinned again then lightly nudged the Sonic alternate on to encourage him.

         They walked in silence, because Sardonyx felt uncertain if anything she said would bring azure one more solace. After a few minutes they came upon building’s entrance, where an elderly human man awaited them. Clearing throat, the artificial woman opted to introduce them.

         “Howard this is Arrow, the one I told you about. Arrow this is Howard Brocks, he bought the island and turned it into the sanctuary you see now.” After she had said this, the elder extended his hand towards blue hedgehog. “Pleased to meet you, my boy.”

“ you deserve so much more than what you’ve had ” ((

    {➹} – THE MOMENT the words were out there, Sardonyx would find that the hero’s expression had shifted entirely from his usual interest to something more somber. By now he had expected that there was little his companion wouldn’t tell him if she had a concern, but this was a double-sided sword most of the time. Usually, and much like today, her worries and verdicts brought about a conversation the hero didn’t want to have. 

     This time was a little different, however. Sardonyx was far from the first person to say something like this to the hero after all, but that didn’t mean the hero didn’t have his own opinion on the matter.  

     “Sometimes I have t’ wonder…” the words were said quietly, but not nearly enough that the female wouldn’t be able to hear them, which was sort of the point. Arrow knew she wouldn’t like it, but he felt he needed to justify himself in this instance so she would know where he was coming from. “’S not that I’m against the idea, it’s just that even you have t’ admit a lot of the stuff that’s happened was because of what me and Kintobor did. And there’s a lot of bad stuff that we can’t change, Sar’. So, in a way, it just feels like everything that’s gone wrong these last few years is…I don’t know, a way t’ make up for that.”

     That was the way the hero rationalize it, anyway. Even if it had been a mistake, an accident, the world certainly seemed like it was trying to get the hero and scientist to pay for that in its own way. With the hedgehog having gone through what he did not just in the canyon but the last decade in general and the human no longer having a body of his own, amongst other things, one would think they had suffered enough. That they did deserve more. 

     Truthfully, Arrow was on the cusp of that belief with one side of him thinking one thing and the other just the opposite. Yet, his friend’s words ran through his head again and he felt something give way inside him, leaving a tentative smile in its place. “But…maybe you’re right. I think we all deserve a happy ending after this.”
