#clears throat#because horror movies BY DESIGN instill feelings such as fear dread and disgust#normally when we feel these emotions they are from a situation outside us and therefore out of our control#when watching a horror movie we are feeling these things in a controlled environment#we can back away at any time unlike other scenarios#so yeah horror movies as therapy
