Shiny Hunt in Let’s Go

 Ok I need to talk about shiny hunting in this game because a lot of people complaining on Facebook and they don’t do the right method, please read!

Trust me I got 5 shinies in 2 days, but I don’t think I know everything so…

This is only apply if you want a shiny only. Perfect Ivs, exp and candies are a different thing!

You don’t have to go more than 31 combos, don’t waste your Pokéballs

You can load the zone and reload the zone to make Pokémon appears more often. Just go far away of the zone or take a stair/door reload the Pokémon in the zone.

You can encounter the Pokémon you hunt and RUN AWAY without break the chain. This is also a good solution to make the Pokemon appear faster.

Encounter a Pokemon or a trainer doesn’t break the chain.

The only thing that break the chain is the Pokemon running away from you or you catch an other Pokemon than the combos you did. You can buy stuffs on shops if you run away of Pokeballs or lures.

Rares Pokémons (Chansey, Starters etc.) actually appear only once in a zone. Reload the zone or encounter the Pokemon make it appear more faster.

Using lures increase your chance by 2. So use them!

Using a lure and reach the 31 combos give you 1/315 chance to get a shiny. Having a shiny charm is 1/273. So yeah shinies are easy in this game if you compare with S/M with the Masuda method who have 1/683 chance to have shinies in eggs (and trust me this is really long to do!).

If you hunt a rare Pokémon like Chansey or the starters, you can chain an other Pokemon to 10 combos and they will appear more often. So starting a chain with this kind or Pokemon is REALLY long, but when you reach 10 combos the Pokemon will appear often.

Starters Pokemon like Eevee and Pikachu are shiny lock

Legendary birds and Mewtwo are not shiny lock
