When they find a puppy abandoned in a park, their lives only get even more complicated.

the nishinoya family is having a reunion, and noya lies to his mom about being in a relationship to get her off his back. when ryuu gets a call from noya asking him to go to the reunion with him as his fake boyfriend, he’s torn―he’s just starting to get over how in love he is with his best friend, and he’s not sure that pretending to be his boyfriend is going to help with that. he agrees nonetheless, because he’s nothing if not a good friend, which leads to a week of denial, confusion and awkwardness. it doesn’t help that noya is sending really mixed signals.

but even when everything else seems unsure, one thing remains constant―they’re best friends, and that’s not going to change.

The Best Best | rikke (12k) Future!Fic “Congratulations, Iwa-chan! You’re a dad!” Iwaizumi hears as soon as the door opens. He’s dealt with Oikawa for all of his twenty-one years of age now, but this declaration is still sufficiently disturbing enough that he turns from his place on the couch and braces himself for whatever Oikawa has done this time. Or the one where Iwaizumi and Oikawa babysit Takeru for a week.

Everything With You | Ellessey (14k) Future!Fic ‘Hajime still loves Oikawa, but he understands now. Oikawa can’t look at him and see someone he could potentially date. And that makes it easier to not focus on the little things that used to drive him crazy—Oikawa’s long legs, the way he’s always hanging off of Hajime, how his whole face changes when he gets ready for a jump serve, and he looks like he could take on the entire world and win. This new arrangement though, this living together situation, is presenting a new set of variables that must be adjusted to, and the nakedness is one of them.’

In that moment, Hajime had never seen a person more beautiful. Or Hajime realizes he has a thing for seeing Tooru’s big, beautiful eyes swell with tears.
