So for years black girls have had to read fanfics where y/n was automatically described as being paled skinned with long flowing hair and blue eyes. We couldn’t relate to it exactly, it excluded us, it ignored us. But we read it cause it was all that was out there. Now when we start writing fanfics for other black girls to feel included and represented, now you all are saying that you ‘‘can’t relate to it” therefore don’t support black writers when we were supporting your work all those years even though you were acting like we don’t exist within these fandoms.

so i’ve been binge-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine all day and I am totally on board with the “John Mulaney should guest star on the show as Jake’s high school best friend/lowkey boyfriend” idea, but I raise you

Once everyone putting it together that they weren’t “just friends”, Amy (out of confusion more than anything) asks “Wait, Jake, you dated John Mulaney in high school?”

And just as Jake is responding “Uh, I guess so?”

John Mulaney says “Wait, your name is Jake?”

Turns out John Mulaney spent the entire time thinking Jake’s name was John (and, of course, this is at the end of the episode, and John Mulaney has only ever referred to Jake as “Peralta”).

John as in “Salt & Pepper Diner” John. As in “Scatter” John.

As is “Jake Peralta has been featured in half of John Mulaney’s best bits over the years, but nobody put it together because of wild misunderstandings”

richie caressed eddie's face when he saw he was dead. he clung onto eddie's body so tightly he was shaking. he tried to convice himself and the losers that eddie was still alive and needed saving. he had to be dragged kicking and screaming out of the sewers, his feet off the ground, all the while begging to go back to eddie and crying out his name. he fought every second he was being dragged out. even as the house collapsed he was fighting his friends because he wanted to go back into the wreckage just to be with eddie again.

HEY GUYS I JUST REALISED SOMETHING

So when I saw this in the cinema for the first time I was a bit confused, but it was funny so I didn’t really care about it.

I was confused because, Richie never saw pennywise do that dance. It wasn’t him. It was Eddie. So I was just thinking how did he know about it?

Clearly, EDDIE TOLD HIM ABOUT IT and Richie 27 years later, wanted to make Eddie laugh.

But what does IT do? Makes sure that comes back to bite him, in Richie’s scene with pennywise, where they are confronting his sexuality.
