If you guys can spare some good thoughts for us i'd be greatly appreciated. Tara is quite sick and things will be a bit touch and go for the next few days.

#tara #i had the night shift but she was fed up waiting for her walk so i got out of bed early #and we made a 1 1/2 hour walk #which is a good day for her

#its been over a year that mac has been missing #and i still dont know how to deal with it #ive been thinking about making a little memorial or something #i donated his harness yesterday and im glad its going to be used for good but still #im still mad that such a good boy got dealed such a bad hand in life #and i miss him so

#tara #this evenings walk made me get all sentimental #im so happy that i get to see her grow old and still enjoy her every day

Mac used to get into fence fighting battles with the neighbours terrier. So I recalled him and Tara inside when they would start and pay them very well for it. It's been a while, but the dog just started and all I needed was a very soft 'come'on girl' and Tara went straight inside to the cookie jar.

I see so many dogblrs coping with the mortality of their dogs and I just want to say, please all of you give your sweetest friend some extra pets and treats from me. Tell them that they are loved even by friends they've never met. They are loved.

And you, their humans, are also loved. You are seen and your grief is seen and you are welcome to share it with us all. It is okay to grieve and be vulnerable. You are seen and you are not too much. Your pain may be too much right now but you yourself are never too much.

You are all loved so much, even from afar.
