Where do I even begin? This place invites you with their warm atheistic and authentic cuisine. The atmosphere alone sets the tone for a romantic dinner with your significant other, or a friendly family get together. Unlike most restaurants, at Johnny’s they care about their image. The modern brick exterior mixes well with the classical jazz interior. True appreciators of jazz, classical and/or retro music feel right at home when they enter past through the threshold. They pride themselves on the fantastic serve they provide, with their amazon Italian soda. The food they serve is one of the many amazing aspects to them. If ONLY I could share this with you all right now! They serve amazing authentic Italian foods, while receiving an authentic Italian experience. All of this without having to leave the country. Before visiting Johnny’s I never had a good dinning experience. Fortunately, everything changed after one of my best friends took me here for my birthday. In the beginning, I was hesitant due to the fact I was not a fan of Italian food. Soon I learned I never had authentic Italian food. When I was able to sit down and look over the menu, I seen how their were many food items that I did not know about. Food items such as Zucchini Fritto. I decided to get this item off of the menu due to my curiosity. I would usually get pasta with a meat sauce and bread sticks. To my surprise, they did not give you bread sticks. Restaurants such as Olive Garden, who serve Italian food would normally provide bread sticks with their entrée. But at Johnny’s they give you a warm soft loaf of bread with their finest oils for dipping it. I am a person who likes the first impressions. Therefore, being able to experience the atheistic of the building and receiving the most heavenly bread was an amazing experience. When the food came out it was as if it was in slow motion. My food was steaming like something off of a movie. I have not been excited to see my food in a restaurant like that in a long time. I had butterflies. That may sound like I was being over dramatic but it is true. Between the way spices danced off of my tongue to the way the music made the experience even better. Johnny's Carino’s is an experience that everyone should experience.
