idk about you gyns but I find it very disturbing that despite the fact that men have lived in close quarters in intimate relationships with women since the dawn of time, ptsd only got recognised as a problem once men got it. when you think just how many women in abusive relationships or have been raped have ptsd, how high the ptsd rates are in women, and that then men who supposedly loved them simply did not notice and/or care. and now ptsd is primarily associated with wartime shellshock. genuinely mortifying.

I will be officially taking a break from tumblr (at 2 months or more), I need to apply for this grant to pay for my work travel, the deadline is near, my boss is writing a letter of recommendation, so my chances are good if only I focus and put in the work. Writing and proofreading always takes much longer for me than my peers, so I have to give this my total focus, and fucking around on tumblr in my few hours of free time isn't wise. I am not dead, just busy.

In high school I used to watch the Joey and Pacey romantic scenes from Dawson's Creek on youtube and pretend that's how me and my 9 year long crush would be. Because she was a pretty straight A student who was super serious and neurotic, and I used to be this messy tom boy that used to get in trouble with teachers for running my mouth. She tutored me in math a few times. We used to be friends in spite of our big differences. It really made me sad when she started dating my best friend at the time (a male). I remember thinking (deluded) that we were meant to be, because if we were characters in a show we'd be endgame. Anyway I saw a Joey/Pacey clip on youtube so I started looking her up on facebook and I can't find her, I know her full name still, she must have deleted her facebook because I saw it like three years ago, I just want to know if she's gay yet, I did all the spells I found online when I was 14.
