As I'm sure you all know, most of the Goncharov (1973) Original Soundtrack is famously lost media (at least, the originals without film dialogue over it!) due to a warehouse fire that destroyed all copies before any LPs could be pressed and sold.

However, with the help of this incredibly dedicated fandom, we have rescued a few tracks from disappearing forever. Here's the list I've compiled so far:

These are only a few of the reported 31 tracks that were on the official score, of course, but I believe it's possible to find more. If anyone knows someone who worked on the movie 50 years ago-- a neighbor or grandfather maybe-- try asking if they kept any sample tapes. Every bit helps.

A Filipino engineering student named Carvey Ehren Maigue has developed new solar panels made from old fruits and vegetables. The panels are “designed to continue harvesting light even during cloudy weather. This added ability means the new panels can produce energy almost half of the time, whereas current panels only produce 15-25% of the time.” He decided to try using rotten vegetation since it was in abundance in the Philippines due to shifting weather conditions resulting from climate change. The person up there (@sachee) is the _CURRENT_ tech lead of Twitter's core API team. Like, I can't think on a more influential or important position you could be if you are a developer. Her pinned tweet:

It's beyond amazing how openly hostile the Twitter folks are toward Musk. Now, Musk has been shitting on their work for months, and he didn't even stop once he became his boss, so I can understand the feeling.

What I can't understand at all is how he doesn't realize how bad for the product he has just bought is to have core engineering employees up in arms against him. Unless he really don't care if twitter just burn down.

the fact that likely a not-insignificant percentage of the people getting twitter banned for criticizing Elon Musk were personally banned by Elon himself is so fucking delightful to me. imagine having 200 billion dollars and yet you're frantically searching for your own name on twitter to find accounts to suspend because your widdle baby feelings got hurt

Been seeing people say that we have to make Twitter completely unprofitable now that Elon owns it, and that's completely true. We need to do that. But we're not going to do that by just being so fucking annoying that no one else wants to be on Twitter. We have to be calculated, coordinated, and so fucking annoying that no brands want to be on Twitter. This must mark the resurgence of The Brand Wars. So if you're on Twitter, you must be completely insufferable to brands. Every brand account you find, comment "SILENCE BRAND" on their posts, block them, tell everyone you know to block them, and move on to the next one. This includes the brands you like. I don't care if Wendy's Twitter is funny; block them. If all the funny popular brand Twitter accounts lose even a quarter of their following in a decently short period of time, they will freak out, and they will blame Musk. If every time you see a sponsored post you immediately block the account that sponsored it, that's money that Twitter can't make off of you anymore, and that's money that Musk loses. We can do this, but we have to do it together, so let's show the world just how powerful a social media community can be and show them that billionaires have no place in that community.
