There’s a light cone of Jing Yuan carrying Yanqing that has been animated and Yanqing looks so baby while Jing Yuan is so daddy fatherly.

No one can convince me that Jing Yuan does not have a domesticated bone in his body nor would he not want kids. He totally treats Yanqing like a son. 🥹

OMG, the general’s trailer. I was so happy when I saw Yanqing with him! I loved it so here are my totally coherent thoughts on it:

1. Just the fact that they’re playing chess together is cute idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ Not the typical father-son bonding lol but still bonding nonetheless.

2. Yanqing accusing him of stealing pieces again, showing that the general can be just as playful and teasing as he is menacing (ugh as if I couldn’t love him anymore).

3. I looove how childish and whiny Yanqing sounded when he said he stole the pieces ‘cause it reminds you that for all of his talent and status, he’s just a little boy and he’s so cute and precious and my son fr.

In conclusion, I love them too so much 😩

From Chinese 彥 meaning "elegant, handsome, learned" and 卿 meaning "minister, high officer, noble"

Also, in another reading it can be interpreted in this way: 燕 meaning "swallow (bird)" and 青 meaning "blue, green, young".

It is a nicely combine the display of his adult- and youthhood.
