The woman snorted in pain as she raised her head to look at the salve. “Do you have a tent or something? We should get out of the open….”
Voices were carrying through the night. Other merchants and the like, all gathered around the desert oasis, had heard the commotion and seen the flash of fire. The animals in the area were all startled. The woman sat up fully. She wore dark leather and cloth. A thin was secured over her shoulders with medallion akin to the one worn by the woman who visited the circus, but this was was a dark, dull metal that didn’t glint much. The woman was armed with a large knife and a small axe. “My pack is behind the sand berm over there… dropped it when I thought I’d be fighting.”
The primordial perked up slightly as she hopped to the small fire pit nearby. It had been embers, now it crackled lightly as she perched on a log. “There are people lighting torches… I can sit on these logs for now, but if we are going to move tomorrow… I will need a lamp.” She looked towards the knocked over lap, the oil now soaked into the sand.
The following morning, Noelle had gathered her things and packed them on the horse. She promised the circus master she would wait, but the worry that the sprite felt was enough to make her decide to be safer than sorry. The noble who spoke with them before visited the circus and she didn't look like she traveled far to do so. It wouldn't be safe for them to remain if she meant them harm.
Shortly after breakfast, Noelle gave a last hug to her sisters before slipping away with the horse. Her hood up, she took to the side paths until she was clear of the town. She would then travel by the main roads away from there, acting as the forward scout for the circus, but mostly to escape the mysterious intent of the noble woman with those piercing eyes. (Fantasy AU)
The primordial watched all this happen from her lamp, though when it came time to say bye to Noelle’s sisters, she departed the lamp and skipped across the grass to run a circle around Trinity and Jingle, a method she often used to replicate hugging. She singed the grass as she did so.
As they started along, she sprite tried her best not to startle the big animal. Some creatures were wary of her, she noticed. Either they were spooked by fire… or they sensed she wasn’t like normal fire. “Will you find something for your sisters? A gift perhaps? I know the sun will only rise a few times during this trip… but it could make them feel better!”

Gisha listened to the boy speak. There was a sense of trepidation in his mannerisms, like he was being cautious. She turned slightly to face him, her expression unreadable. “You can feel me because there is nothing false about my core. My flame burns true.” As if to make a point of this, fire coiled up her arms, then burning along her shoulders, then extinguished.
She started walking towards him, one slow step at a time. “You dispel your lightning. Tell me boy, what makes you think I am no threat to you? Do you think you could hurt me… if you had to?”
The small boy would stand a fair distance away from Gisha as he would stare at her. He would silently examine her from his hood as he would debate for a moment about what to he should do. He was sure what he felt was coming from the woman but knew that being reckless could mean he would lose his freedom again or worse. Still he couldn't overcome his curiosity about her. Silently the small boy would hold up his hand to the sky as he would have small crackles of electricity start to dance around the two of them, careful to make sure none got too close to the woman.
Gisha sensed the elemental energy in her vicinity. After so many years, she was practiced in that kind of detection, especially since most elementals tried to hide themselves to some extent.
“Are you following me?” She called to him from a distance, when they were sufficiently alone. “You should practice caution… you wouldn’t want to hurt anyone with that electricity.”

Someone came up and hit your child Jack
Gisha fumed as the atmosphere boiled around her. The earth at her feet started to sizzle and glow a dull red. Grass burned in her vicinity. “Who…” she said seriously. Malice filled her glare. “Where are they.”

Is fantasy au Gisha still missing an arm?
//Yes. And as much as I'd like to redesign her with a cool porcelain or ceramic fantasy arm, I don't have enough artistic time and effort to devote to it.
So fantasy Gisha has this metallic prosthetic (same aesthetic as her scifi non-tactile prosthetic). Perhaps dwarven design, or whatever fits the setting. I like to imagine she can use her heat to modulate it's movements. Perhaps it's enchanted.
She lost the arm a long time ago when she was young. More or her life has been spent without it than with it.

Gisha the soldier and Gisha the enforcer.
About 5 years, a couple astronautical units, a missing limb and an honorable discharge separate these two.

“Bet I would look way better in those cool forge smocks and gloves.” She put her arms up behind her head and leaned back, imagining how tough she would look.

“No, actually. This pool is taken… you’ll have to your own.” She heated the water to make a cloud of steam, ushering the other characters away. No waifu fan service today.
