Its a smaller world than you think

Tonight, I'm following a lead on a murderer that left a man drained of blood and hanging off a rooftop in Burnley. It turns out he works out of a loft in Star City, my good friend Roy Harper is from SC and as i am telling him about the case He says "Jason there is someone i want to introduce you to when we touch down in Star City". I'm thinking he is gonna introduce me to someone he knew from his days living here, or maybe an IT person who can help me with tracking this guy. But I have to say Roy kinda caught me.off guard eith this!!! As we are discussing the case and formulating our plan of action, i hear someone approach us, me being me,draw down on this asshole. Ready to turn me into swiss cheese. When who dp i see???? Thats right you guessed it, The Green friggin Arrow. So now he has me lined up for the killshot with his bow and i got BOTH my guns aimed at his heart. "WHOA, HOLD ON, BOTH OF YOU" Roy says. "Hood, Arrow, i brought both of you together because i thought we could help each other do some good for both of our cities" Roy has a good point. I am unfamiliar with Star City and this guy has one hell of a reputation!! So we do the apologies thing..im thinking to myself, i know my armor can hold up any bullet they make. Waynetech is tough to beat in terms of the Batgear we got...What!!??You didnt think the redbat symbol embazoned on my chest was my idea did you?. But i find myself thinking about how itd hold up against arrows with the almost surgical accuracy Roy can shoot that thing, it makea me realize this is the guy who trained him. And then it dawns on me exactly who is under that mask and hood. Knowing who Roy is, and what happened, and of course my own experience with secret identities and so forth. Just than he says, Hello Jason, Im Oliver Queen. OLIVER FREAKING QUEEN!!!!(Ok, seriously, I had no idea it was Oliver F*&$%& Queen....I was way off!!!!!) This guy is so much like Bruce is scary. The giant array of state of the art tech and kick ass toys, the fact he is a billionaire orphan, philanthorpist and CEO, guys i kid you not on this....HE BROODS much in the same way our man does. I swear to god youd think they are related! ANYWAY!!!He starts to ask me about my background, which is normally the part where i put up the walls and shut the conversation down. I understand the secrets this guy must have to shoulder, i get that feeling that he is trustworthy and that makes me less worried..I get the feeling his past and mine are what make us do the things we do, so how it went down or what made us completely different in approach doesnt rank to the certain one...The reason why... Or Perhaps there is some Billionaire Vigilantes Club, that most of us wouldnt know a thing about.And he knows Bruce from that and has already vetted me and my abilities....Ok, so Full disclosure here....if its one thing i have learned working with, not just the bat but the type of person he and By and large Oliver, probably are. I have a quote from the late, great Kurt Cobain of Nirvana said "Just because you're paranoid, dont mean there not after you" Hang in there Gotham, Im with you!! - Hood

Out on partol tonight and who do i run into...yup The king of the night himself, and i swear to god its always the same damn thing with him....You have to stop killing, and oh im sorry i failed you.... like look here Bats...Sh*t happens...yeah i sure i was raw about it, yeah sure maybe i did hire scarecrow and an entire army...and maybe I hired the deadliest assassin around..ahem looking in your direction, There strokey...Look, im glad we bridged the gap so to speak. But every once in awhile would it kill this guy to be like hey Hood, did you catch that Knights game last night?? Or Hey hows the outlaws been, you talked to Grayson lately??...but no its always the same thing. Let's be fair here, the guy has the weight of an entire city and being one of the only guys in the JL without powers and still being a shot caller, on his shoulders. BUT..I DIGRESS. It was a traumatic experience to say the least but put yourself in my shoes..You were the second robin,(lile being the middle kid and a step child rolled i to one) your life gets cut short by a guy who makes Charles Manson look like a sunny day in the park petting kittens, than your corpse gets dipped into some spooky ancient chemical that Ra's Al Ghul uses for his personal mudbath....you gonna tell me you are not gonna feel like i do? You arent gonna feel that the only way to truly stop these sick f*cks is a bullet to the face? Come on Bats, gimmie a break..Joker alone has filled enough graves to fill amusement mile 6 times over...and yet, here we sit still having a conversation about him and not if, but when he breaks out of Arkham again...dont you remember what he did to Oracle and why she is oracle now and not another fighter on thw Bat family...I know he started this whole thing here in Gotham, and even inspired a few others to do the same (star citys Green Arrow comes to mind) but I cant help but wonder what has to happen for Batman to see what its gonna take to truly put an end to this nonsense and finally give this city the peace it deserves...maybe then he will let go of our shared past....
