Catti is interesting… There’s this aspect to her where like, you kind of assume she’s this generic goth girl who fills out the class, at a glance. But there’s hints here and there, like this, that she has a lot going on we are not yet privy too. Notably, she has a connection to both Kris (Who she learned magic with) and Noelle (Who is confirmed to have pet her sometimes - You have to have Noelle act on a Tasque to learn this.) She feels ill at ease with her heavily social family. She’s phone obsessed in a game with some notable phone symbolism. Notably… She’s a cat. And one of the elements - the one with the most discussion by far and the first one to show up - is Cat/Puppet, which is… Notable. Puppets, as a parallel, have been drawn to Kris in the conversations with Spamton. Catti is a goth girl who speaks very little, often in one-word sentences like Kris. She is the black sheep of her family, like Kris. And she has also had an interest in the occult., I do wonder if the idea here is that Catti is the elemental Cat to Kris’ elemental Puppet. Additionally, she and Jockington are the only other members of the class to have portraits and to be new characters. Monster Kid, Temmie, and Snowdrake fill out the class beside them, and they are all returning characters. So it would be… Weird, if at least Catti is not important. Jockington… Seems a little like a meme character, I dunno about him doing anything actually important that isn’t like, purely offscreen. I do suspect Catti will be very important later on

idea i probably definitely won't use: while exploring the bunker you find various "prototype" ralsei's; gaster's previous attempts at creating a guide character for you

the one on the top left has dialogue boxes that play ralsei's talk sound, but no dialogue actually appears. in actuality it's just black text so it blends in with the textbox. if you go in the code he's saying a very long "lorem ipsum"

when you talk to the one in the top right, he melts into a puddle before he can get one word out

when you talk to the one in the bottom left, something similar to a textbox appears, but the entire thing is black - the fancy dark world border included

when you talk to the one on the bottom right he says "HI IM RALSY YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND" and then he joins your party. every few seconds he goes "HI YOU WONT ABANDON ME RIGHT" and you can choose yes or no. if you choose yes he continues following you and asks you again in like fifteen seconds. if you choose no he turns into a pile of clothes like Ralsei does when downed. the pile of clothes just stays there and can't be interacted with

A little update I've been working on since Real Life dropped.

Once again, I give you... the Wheel of Life... v1.1!

Updated some symbols & changed some placements from the original, then added a few other things, partly from RL but mostly from feedback I got both here & over on Reddit. Thanks for all that! :D

oh yeah i had this heartbreaking idea for a weird route scene (like a fic or something) where noelle desperately tries to find any sign that kris is still in there somewhere, but all she finds is you, and she comes to the difficult conclusion that she must leave kris. then kris is so happy, because noelle is finally leaving and you can no longer hurt her, there's nothing you can do anymore. they're so happy that they begin to cry tears of joy. and noelle hears this as she's walking away, turns around, and realizes kris IS still in there, and comes back to them because this means they can still be helped. and kris is obviously distraught at this because she was so close to being safe. but now they can't do anything about it. anyway what do you think

Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

did i tell u guys i got into an argument on twitter bc i said foxes are dogs and someone tried to bring up their actual fuckin. classification or whatever and i just said “foxes are dogs cause they are fluffye” and they kept arguing with me. the entire time i was like “you will not survive the immigration to tumblr you are lucky we are not there right now”
