I’m a person with CPTSD with dissociation features. I’ve always recognized a feeling of other ‘parts’ of myself that don’t feel like they can ‘come out’ or really be expressed in any way tangible to me. They’re not whole or formed, I don’t feel like I have DID. Kind of like there is something inside that IS me but also isn’t me that is ‘stuck’, and I never know: am I supposed to be trying to ‘unstick’ it and recognize it or try and get rid of it? Could you explain more about this, please? Not so much why the other poster is wrong, just more about what exactly that circle on the right means. Are people with CPTSD also systems in a way? I’m familiar with DID but am not familiar enough to know the acronyms associated with it or its broader context in dissociation in general and disorders of stress/trauma. (Like the differences between secondary and tertiary dissociation or what an Emotional Part really is). I think you may be knowledgeable and able to explain better to me or point me to resources that can.
