@sassykinzonline NaruHina and SasuSaku the romance are a perfect coupling because they teach us the values of forced marriages and the inherent abuse and negligence that come along with it. It has this beautiful theme of gas lighting, brain washing, guilt tripping and I see nothing wrong with it because a man and a woman entering into a canon relationship is way more important than mutual feelings/mutual consent. Who cares if one party is coerced into this relationship/marriage. So long as the brainwashed man is kissing the woman under the full moon, it's all romantic and cute and signs of a green flag in a relationship/marriage. Also, it doesn't matter/it's totally normal if the woman is more than willing to set her heels on fire, overcome with sexual desires for a man who doesn't feel the same. The main thing here is that the man must submit himself to the lustful desires of a woman who has no other reason to ''love'' him besides him being ''so hot''.

We must encourage more people into having children born out of a wedlock because they are more than likely to grow up in a healthy domestic environment and later go on to have equally healthy relationships with their future partners.

Look, all I'm saying is, NaruHina and SasuSaku are a picture perfect romantic pairing because they teach us core values of vanity, superficiality, co dependency and harassment. And these are the values to live by if you want a romantic and healthy man-woman relationship.

anyways lets talk about the actual real problem with boruto aka the massive retcon and plothole that is the heterosexual marriages.

in the original manga its already established that iruka + itachi serve as the platonic foundation of sasunaru: the imperfection of these important bonds highlight the necessity of both boys to each other. iruka tries to accept despite inhumanity and inability to contribute to strength. itachi emphasizes weakness and dehumanizes, but accepts regardless. this is the key significance in the confessions: they make explicit reference to unconditional observation of strength and humanity to each other. these imperfect platonic foundations serve as the lifeline that allows for further "perfect" love to be explored and understood.

so it doesnt make sense that in boruto with 0 explanation whatsoever (this is even accounting for the light novels), sasunaru becomes the "platform" for the relationship for the suddenly more important relationships with the wives. why? if you have an exclusively perfect relationship, youre not gonna look for another. moreover, ideas like "you acknowledged me more than anyone else" and "i cant lose you" and "you alone make me feel less alone" and "only you make my life worth living, only you bring me light" and "you are my prayer and my hope for the future" are randomly attributed to women who were explicitly told the opposite. in those same light novels, sasunaru becomes a relationship exclusively of conflict/desire for space and distance, but in the boruto manga they cant stay away from each other while scorning their wives.

total actual clusterfuck, the character assassination of sasuke and naruto by that point is entirely secondary and becomes borderline understandable when you consider key values and themes are totally abandoned to give way to these couplings.

I'm sure you've seen Sarada's latest character design. She doesn't even look like her father let alone Sakura. There was a time when Sarada had SK aesthetic about her. And it's not just the glasses I'm talking about. Jun Esaka and her god forsaken Sasuke Retsuden did everything in their power to remove Karin from not just from Sasukes life, but also from the whole Naruto franchise. Sakura gets Karin's sensory abilities and the main villain looks like a male version of her. And SPECIFICALLY the red hair and Karin's similar hair style? I hope I'm making sense here but I think this whole Sasuke Retsuden was not only to prove the SS authenticity and its forced validation but also to make Karin look like an evil force to be dealt with. At least that's how I see things here. Also, isn't it funny how SS are so OOC in their own story? I'm not triggered, I'm not angry. I'm just laughing at the whole SS community and I'm laughing at Jun Esaka's expense

Yeah, to be honest I don't really keep up with Boruto and definitely not any non canon fantasies because I don't hate myself and I'm not putting myself through that lol

But yeah you're right. People are so obsessed with trying to wipe the existence of any other female character Sasuke so much as looks at because they realise he has more chemistry with literally anyone else than his own wife.

It is kinda tragic. I can't help but feel sorry for SS's but it really is laughable.

I absolutely can not stand when people say Sakura deserved better - SHE LITERALLY GOT WHAT SHE WANTED. She's the one who chased after, obsessed over and basically annoyed the boy she wanted into getting with her, when Sasuke REPEATEDLY told her to fuck off. He could not make it clearer he was not interested and now she's miserable with a husband who couldn't care less about her and IT'S EXACTLY WHAT SHE WANTED.

It's not Sasuke's fault he was pressured into getting with her. He was literally guilt tripped about how he doesn't love her even though she apparently loves him so much (she literally tried to kill him).

You mean where she got the guy in the end, but still decided to be a sob story who did everything alone and then complained about getting no help?

Or what about when she broke off her first ever friendship over her obsession simply because of hearsay?

Or what about when she taped her picture over the picture of her husband's friend, and then got angry because her daughter found out and dared to ask questions about it, so she threw a super punch at the space by her kid's feet and took the whole house down in the process?

Or what about that time where she was heavenly pregnant and decided to charge into a very dangerous situation, all for the sake of pride and not being left in her teammate's shadows as usual, and then literally put herself and her unborn child at risk?

Abilities & Strengths?

You mean how her stans try to act like she's surpassed her master by 17, and is better than every other woman in the series when she keeps getting curb-stomped and still needs to be saved by everyone else?

Like, no one is arguing that she hasn't improved as a ninja, cuz it's pretty damn obvious she did, but when y'all sit there being like, 'she's a goddess and Hinata sucks!' are you really being truthful? The enhanced punches aren't helping her all that much so all she's got is healing and even then, she's still not the best at it by adulthood. And she hasn't exactly made a name for herself as she never got out of her teammate's shadows... because she wasn't serious when it mattered.

Y'all brag about how 'Sakura won' when comparing her marriage to Ino's as if Ino isn't in a happy relationship. As if Ino doesn't have a good family unit and that Sai isn't a good father. Sasuke won't come back to the village and only talks to Naruto. Sasuke has never kissed Sakura but HAS kissed Naruto and a Dinosaur of all things. Sasuke didn't even know what his daughter looked like when he met her. When Sakura got stabbed while standing beside him, he didn't care, but when it happened to Naruto he asked after Naruto's well-being. Sakura got the guy she always salivated over, but she didn't actually win anything.

Your consistent need to degrade Hinata and Ino as characters to 'prove' that Sakura is somehow better than them, is also sus. Objectively, they have more character growth and better motivations, and while they might not be super strong and can't punch a house to smithereens in a tantrum, they're far better characters and have better relationships with the people in their lives.

But yeah. People not liking SH for all of these things that make up her character, means they are misogynists.

okay, guys:

Sakura having sensor skills is bs? Yes. Sort of. Yes in the sense of that novel.

Is being a sensor a Kekkei Genkai? No.

A sensor is a type of shinobi that is more sensitive to chakra signatures than regular shinobi, but every ninja has it as a basic skill as every one of them can perceive chakra (which is why many can sense danger approaching, more so if the attacker has immense reserves) and train such skill. The main difference between Sensors and non-sensors is the extent to which they can extend their sensitivity to chakra signatures (naturally, they are more alert to energies) and the fact that they can mould chakra and turn it to "sensory mode" to precisely detect foreign signatures, recognize the chakra of an individual, get information of the clan (if they previously know the family) and the nature of such individuals (if they are aggressive or not, their mood, and so on).

Yamakana, all of them, are sensors (they do seem to hone that skill to be able to sense further) and they use this exact "sensory mode" to use the Kanchi Denden (sensing transmission). Ino seems to be the best sensor in Konoha alive in Boruto.

Karin (and Mito?) have the Mind's Eye of the Kagura, which is a supreme form of sensing only present in some Uzumaki members, they can sense all chakra signatures within many kilometers as well as discern how many signatures there are, what type of being it belongs to and whether a specific individual is present. Sasuke chose Karin as his teammate for this exact reason, she's the best sensor alive in Boruto.

Tobirama and Minato seem to be very powerful sensors. Naruto, Hashirama, and likely Kabuto can sense chakra when in Sage Mode.

Hyüga, Inuzuka, and Aburame are not "sensors" in the strict term of the word, as they do not sense chakra signatures, Hyüga can see chakra, Inuzuka can smell individuals (not chakra as far as I'm aware of), and Aburame have their Kikaichus to perceive others.

The Sharingan can see chakra in far more detail than the Byakugan.

Edo-Tensei implies the sacrifice of a living human being for their body to become the vessel of the soul they're trying to bring back. What this author means is that Sasuke and Sakura are willing to perform inhumane acts to "see each other again".

The jutsu was created by Tobirama, someone Sasuke despises.

This is the same jutsu Orochimaru, whom Sakura admitted to hating as he "took Sasuke away from Konoha", used; why would she willingly use a jutsu from his book?

The caster has complete control of the person they summon, the person that was "revived" has no real volition of their own. Obito, who used to love Rin, never even entertained the idea of summoning her (and thus, controlling her), what a disgusting thing to do to someone you "love".

This is the same man who canonically has the chance to see his wife whenever he pleases, yet he doesn't, why on earth would he revive her? Why wouldn't he revive Itachi, Mikoto, or Fugaku for that matter?

Sakura has little to no knowledge of füinjutsu, let alone enough chakra to perform something like this.

Sasuke having a "moment" with Itachi doesn't translate to him actually liking the technique.

"Sasuke and Sakura are only thinking of a possibility" is just as awful as performing it; they're willing to do such a monstrous thing to others to fulfill their selfish wishes. The fact that they didn't do it isn't because they aren't prone to do so, but because they didn't have to, as both are still alive.

Edo-tensei is not romantic, at all. It's one of the worst techniques ever invented as it was devised to seek control over powerful (deceased) shinobi to use their souls/techniques as tools of military power. The person revived has no control over their actions, so they see themselves committing acts they might not agree with because the person who summoned them wanted their strength. Its origin was about complete control of a human being (humiliation likely plays a part, as having no control over your body yet having your mind intact is the ultimate form of torture), the possession of the power of others, and the ultimate tool as those revived receive no real damage as they respawn.

Edit to add: This line was, in fact, in Sasuke Retsuden (in the manga adaptation Sasuke never actually confirmed this, as it was Sakura who replied for him -lol-). Jun Esaka just butchered the entirety of Sasuke's characterization, this woman was paid to write a SasuSaku story and couldn't even bother to understand and respect the characters' original personality, having to modify everything about them and using their trauma as a "romantic device" to show "how much Sasuke and Sakura love each other". I have no respect for her as an author, at least, not as an author inside the Narutoverse.

this is what has always bothered me @neji-walks-hinata-like-a-dog Sakura fans are going apeshit crazy because she has magically performed sensory skills in Sasuke Retsuden when clearly she had next to none in the canon manga, Gaiden included. Now she is regarded by her cult followers that she is superior to Karin in terms of chakra reserves, sensory skills, and most of all, Karin Sasuke to Sakura. these delusions make her cult like followers feels that she is leagues and leagues above any hokage and she is placed above god like characters like Haguromo (maybe i misspelled his name)

im confused when you talk about clans when it comes to sensory abilities. i saw your tobirama post, and it kind of confused me. in anime and manga canon, you don't have to be in a specific clan to be a sensor ninja or to prohibit you from being one. tobirama is listed as a sensor ninja, like...everywhere. he was able to sense madara's chakra at the shrine when he was reanimated ( countrys away mind you ). When he died, he was able to sense the Kinkaku force by touching the ground. how is not a sensor ninja? like genuine question, i don't understand what your saying, or rather how tobirama isn't a sensor ninja.

Let’s start with a fact that Tobirama is a Senju.

And Senju are directly connected to Ashura,like Uzumaki,they are one of the closest to Otsusuki people.

Tobirama is also a genius and is famous for inventing jutsu like edo tensei,Reanimation jutsu and shadow clone jutsu.

Karin—a sensor. Uzumaki clan.

Ino—a sensor. Yamanaka clan.

Kiba—a sensor. Inuzuka clan.

Shino—a sensor. Aburame clan.

Neji—a sensor. Hyuga clan.

And so on: every sensor we see in a show comes from a clan.

Random people,who are either with civilian background or have no clan,like Gai,Lee,Shizune, Ebisu,Udon and Moegi are not sensors.

You can also count Uchiha clan as sensors,but they are not as sharp as Hyuga and Uzumaki.

Sensor jutsu aren’t common like taijutsu or ninjutsu and we don’t see ordinary or/and below average shinobi using them.

Also,we never see anyone just spontaneously learn sensor jutsu. Ninjutsu,for example shadow cloning,is taught at ninja academy and everyone can do it—some better than others,some are lacking,yet everyone can use ninjutsu.

Gai,Lee and Dai are the exemption,not the rule: Lee was bullied in the academy for his inability to perform ninjutsu.

Yet sensor jutsu aren’t taught: you either have them or you don’t.

Orochimaru,a scientist famous for both stealing and inventing jutsu,does not have his own sensor jutsu.

Why not? He has plenty of his own ninjutsu and even fuinjutsu, that are one of the most rare techniques.

Because,obviously,sensor justu aren’t as easy to master,invent or obtain like ninjutsu or taijutsu.

“But ordinary people can have sharingan and byakugan” Yea,they can. If they gauge an eye out of Uchiha or Hyuga clansmen. And even than they suck and are worse at using the dodjutsu they stole from original users,Danzo is a bright example of this.

So,back to the sensor jutsu.

The whole discussion started because of a non-canon novel by Jun Esaka,called Sasuke Retsuden,where Jun Esaka have Sakura “a new sensor jutsu she invented herself”,what is bullshit.

1)Sakura never was a sensor type kunoichi and she has zero sensor abilities.

2)Sakura is not a scientist neither a genius. If Orochimaru didn’t invent his own sensor jutsu while being famous for his crazy experiments,Sakura’s chances of inventing one are below zero.

3)Sakura has civilian background and no clan. In Sasuke Retsuden Sakura’s “new sensor jutsu” is copycat of Karin’s sensor abilities. It is not possible for Sakura in established canon world being to suddenly invent and use “her own sensor jutsu”.

There is this false believe in fandom that “everyone can invent sensor justu and everyone can use them” that feeds of this nonsense about Sakura from the novel.

If anyone can invent and use sensor jutsu,why sensor type shinobi are the minority? Why everyone,or at least the vast majority,of all shinobi aren’t sensors than?

Also,it is important to note: clan shinobi beat ordinary shinobi when it comes to their specialty.

Itachi absolutely humiliated Kurenai in her own genjutsu, proving that Uchiha genjutsu> ordinary civilian background shinobi genjutsu.

So,when it comes to the jutsu even ordinary shinobi can use, they still lose in comparison with clan shinobi.

Sakura’s “new sensor jutsu” works unrealistically great in comparison with canon sensor techniques.

And Sakura also mimics Karin’s behavior while performing her “new justu” what just scares plagiarism.

So,when I say that clan shinobi are seen as sensor jutsu users— it is because if you point at a sensor ninja in Naruto manga,he/she will have some sort of clan background.

Aren’t no one like Shizune using sensor jutsu.
