[LONG ASK/DISCUSSION SORRY] i tuned into connors stream for literally 20 seconds last night and he was talking about how he doesnt think xqc is evil he just thinks hes stupid (Essentially) What do you think about it?? Im asking bc when i heard that i couldnt help but think about his “”friendship”” with dream or other people who hes had good faith in who have turned out to be Weirdos. and when dream thing happened he was like Guys I guess i need to be more aware… (i dont think xqc is a total piece of shit and i used to like him a lot but i feel like i cant have any hope in him since the Adin Ross friendship forming) TLDR i feel bad that Connor likes people more than they deserve sometimes. and idk if he will realize this fully

yeah i agree that xqc is probably not completely evil but i don't think that being stupid is a good enough excuse for his behaviour. especially how he apparently refuses to understand the influence he holds over his audience in regards to gambling and associating with adin/that crowd (hes seemingly swinging back but also he seems like a bored contrarian to me so idk lol)

connor was trying really hard to choose his words when talking about asmon/xqc's response to protestors & honestly i was disappointed in him but wtvr. my take is that he's just used to making peace with other people having questionable opinions. it wouldnt be reasonable to him to distance himself from someone just bc of their shitty take & as we know he really values his "connections". also hes closer to xqc than he was with dream afaik? like he's mentioned talking with him abt mental health, gambling, self medicating etc. which is why im inclined to trust his judgement slightly more. then again i dont trust him to condemn actual bad behaviour and not excuse it on the grounds of stupidity

tldr xqc isnt (that) evil but i dont think hes a great guy. connor is going to stay on his good side until the last moment possible regardless of his dogshit takes/personality. i think he should get connor hooked on adderall
