they do hold their shape but theyre still not really like a solid caramel or a brittle. my sugar/butter ratio WAS for a sauce, after all... so im storing them in the freezer for maximum shape retention. im very happy i was able to cut them into little squares at least

and i bet they would be heavenly with a chocolate coating too, but... i cant be arsed to do all that rn 😵‍💫

overall a neat experiment! would love to be able to do it better and on purpose next time lmao

last week i attempted to make a caramel sauce but i cooked it just a little too long, forgetting that it continues to cook for a while after removing from the heat. so it ended up hard and grainy in the fridge- but still extremely tasty

so i decided to heat it back up and add peanuts, to make it more like a candy treat instead 😋 i am not a candy maker though, i dont know the correct process or temps or anything. im just tryin to turn a mistake into somethin somewhat intentional lol

#the main function of cell phones in my dreams usually revolve around getting an unpleasant or creepy call. not social media stuff #im really not involved enough in my websites to be subconsciously worried about getting called out online. but i DO hate phone calls #and i do have a subtle constant feeling of obligation to keep up with certain family members even when i feel like disappearing forever #so it makes sense that phones are often stressors in my dreams. its this thing i want to drop and avoid just as much as i need to hold tight
