This time last year, what was happening in your life? i was settling into life in japan & boy do i miss it there. Did you/will you have coffee or some other form of caffeine today? i went to starbucks this morning.

Who did you last have a text conversation with and what was it about? my best friend commenting on how her ex-husband is on vacation with his new wife for like the 50th time this year.

Are there regular trains in and out of your town/city? i live on an island, like i can get to the other side of the island in about an hour, we don't have trains here.

Do you bathe your pets regularly? when they live with me yeah.

Do you have a mailbox or do you collect your mail from the post office? there's a mailbox right down the street.

What was the last animal you saw, and was it a pet? a chicken or a rooster, i'm positive of that. no they aren't pets. there's feral chickens/roosters all over the place here.

Have you ever had an ear infection? yes, getting them as an adult is even worse.

If you could watch any TV series right now, what would it be? i really really love watching roswell. don't know why i just do.

Would you have any clue when your best friend last got their hair cut? a few weeks ago.

Someone messages you just as you’re about to go to sleep. Do you reply? if it's my husband, absolutely, yes, i like to annoy him.

Have you ever been hospitalized due to dehydration? when i was pregnant yeah.

Is there anything you need to remember to do before the day ends? no? i don't think so. i have a lot i need to remember to do tomorrow though.

When you listen to music with headphones, do you keep the volume low enough to hear surrounding noise faintly, or do you blast it? i absolutely blast it, i want to go deaf. i hate being able to hear noise around me when i'm listening to stuff with headphones/ear buds.

What’s your favorite online radio site? i don't really use online radios? i mean unless you count youtube music.

Do your parents have any authority over who you date? absolutely did not have any authority. fuck my dad, he can def kick rocks. my mom never tried to tell me not to date someone. although i'm married now & she tells my husband every year there's no returns allowed.

How many different shades of nail polish do you have? probably like two, i had to throw a bunch of them away when we moved.

What did you have for breakfast this morning? a latte from starbucks. lol. i'm really bad at remembering to eat most of the time

How did you feel when you woke up today? Why? exhausted. my husband is gone for work right now & i always sleep like crap when he isn't here, unless i have my dog with me but my dog is on the other side of the country from me.

Who was the last person you messaged on Facebook? my group chat with my friends about the pet shipper i found that said they can get me a quote for an in cabin flight for my dog with a flight nanny. gonna cost a fortune probably but i'm so excited for him to get here.

When was the last time you saw them? uhhhhh, my best friend i saw a year ago the rest of my friends it was a little over a year ago.

i know we don't talk or seem like we used to, but i always thought it was obvious that i miss you.

When was the last time you got more then eight hours of sleep? the past few days, thankfully. i have a concussion & my husband is away for work so my kids have been really helping out by allowing me to not fall all over the place trying to make them food.

Do you find that people don't really understand you? sometimes? i'm really kind of awkward & weird. Is there anyone in your life that you wish you were closer to? no? i don't really get a choice in where i live for a few more years at least, so i'm enjoying my experience while i can. also if i'm not emotionally close with you there's probably a reason.

Would you say you are a gullible person? sometimes.

Are you one to swear often? oh i definitely swear a lot.

Have you ever sat down and played video games all day? when i was pregnant with my oldest my husband & i literally ate salt & vinegar chips & mcdoubles & played kingdom hearts for like a week straight.

What is one thing in your life that is no longer there, that you miss? freedom to just do what i wanted when i wanted.

What do you believe is the best thing about being a kid? not having the enormous responsibilities of an adult. like paying bills & meal planning.

What is the last book you read/are reading? Did you/are you enjoying it? the last book i read was how do dinosaurs say merry christmas. it was definitely cute & a good bedtime story for my daughter.

If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go; why? i'm not sure. i've always dreamed of going to japan & here i am living in japan. my time here is coming to an end soon though however i get to cross another place off my bucket list since we're moving to honolulu.

Have you ever trusted someone you wish you wouldn't have? 100% yes. i feel like you're inherently supposed to be able to trust your parents though, or the people that are supposed to be your guardians & protectors. that didn't work out too well for me.

What was the last thing you bought at a store? When did you buy this? i went to walmart yesterday, i bought pedialyte, grapes, clothes & sunglasses for my four year old & bubbles. 

What noises in the room you’re in, do you hear at the moment?  it’s raining so i hear that & all the cars driving by in the rain. there’s also a documentary on my tv & my husband is watching youtube down the hall. 

What color is the kitchen in the house you’re in, painted? it’s a tanish color, i didn’t pick it & i don’t like it.

Do you live in a town where basically everyone knows everyone else?  no but there’s definitely six degrees of separation here. it’s crazy to think about how someone i went to school with knows my older siblings or my siblings know someone who knows one of my friends.

Do you like the smell of BBQs? if my husband isn’t in charge of the grill, don’t tell him i said anything but he’s really into this jerk seasoning that he found & puts it on literally everything & i’m just a little tired of it.

Do wasps scare you? no. flying cockroaches & crickets & grasshoppers are the worst though.

Have you ever had to spend the night at a hospital? after i gave birth both times.

Do you have plants in your house? If so, what kind/s? absolutely not. not only would my husband’s cat eat them but i cannot keep plants alive to save my life.

If you carry a water bottle, do you reuse the same one or buy a new one? i bought one to reuse all the time, i have a hard time drinking enough water to begin with so having a big bottle with me that i can refill helps.

If you wear them, what are your loudest pair of earrings? i don’t really have any “loud” earrings. i just recently got my ears pierced again for the first time in ten years so ask me again in a few months.

Would you rather wear a tie or a bowtie?  a clip on of either one because i do not have the patience or coordination to tie one. 

How many birds can you name just by looking at them? a few, not many though.

Which birds are most common around your neighborhood? geese, definitely fucking geese, especially since the pandemic started. 

When's the last time you had a potluck? um christmas eve? we had a quarantine bubble party for my nephews birthday.

Are you the kind of person to look at accident sites, when passing them by?  yeah, i’m normally trying to make sure it isn’t my husband’s car. but i also say a prayer with my girls. 

Do you ever see candles burning by the road side?  i did, i had a friend die in 2008, shortly after his 18th birthday in a car accident. there was a shrine there for a little bit.

Did you ever make dolls or hand puppets in primary/elementary school?  puppets, definitely.

What is your dearest stuffed animal that you own? Why is that?  i used to have this stuffed beagle that was so old that the nose ripped open & was sown shut. my husband made me throw it away but it had been mine since i was like 5 & i had slept with it every night.

Are you more an Eeyore, a Piglet or a Tigger? depending on when you catch me it’s either eeyore or tigger.

Do you have an appliance running right now? If so, which one?  i’m watching tv in my room, my husband is on the computer & watching tv in the office & my daughter is watching tv downstairs.

What makes you wary about a person?  there are many red flags that can make me wary about a person.

Do planes fly over your area often? we’re on the flight path to one of the big passenger plane airports around here so yeah.

When at a Chinese or Japanese restaurant, do you use chopsticks?  i’m not the greatest at it but i do try.

How do you break your routine when you feel like you're stuck in a rut?  i don’t. i just hope that it’ll break itself because if i don’t do the things i normally do then they don’t get done & then i get yelled at.

If you could, would you enhance your body with technology?  um, i mean it would be cool to have hoverboards & flying cars like in back to the future but i don’t want technology to rule the world either.

What are you grateful for NOT having?  an autoimmune disease.

What's something you can't wait for about growing old?  i’m almost 31, there’s nothing i look forward to anymore.

How do you expect your life to go like? How are you ensuring that? i expected it to be a hell of a lot different then it is. i don’t know how much longer i can do this without something changing.

Do you wish you could talk to someone about your past? If so, who? No, I attempted to go to therapy for postpartum depression but my therapist just wanted to focus on my dad’s alcoholism. So I just don’t really care to anymore, I have moved past it on my own so I don’t really want to relive it.

When was the last time you did something for the first time? I was just talking to my husband about this the other day, I can’t remember what we were talking about though. But I fried shrimp for dinner for the first time, that was exciting & it was delicious.  

Which do you prefer: Valentine’s Day or Easter? Either? I don’t really celebrate anymore, unless you count my lilies & bottle of liquor from my husband. I like to celebrate with my kids more.

What’s your favorite Starbucks drink? Year round, iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel, light ice and whole milk. I count down to holiday drink time though caramel brulee latte is my absolute favorite Starbucks drink ever. 

What were you wearing in the last good selfie you took? Probably my PJs, my three year old & I take plenty of selfies on Snapchat everyday. She loves filters. 

What’s on your wish list right now?  A lot of stuff, the number one thing was a new laptop & my husband already bought me one so I have to figure out what else there is so that people have something to buy me for Christmas.

What’s the best family vacation you’ve ever been on? When I was probably about 7 or so we went to New Jersey for Christmas, probably the last time all the cousins were together for a holiday. Anyway someone had chicken pox so they sent all of us out to play together in the sunroom, I had already had it twice so I didn’t end up getting, everyone else did though. We also played in the snow, sledded down the hill & went to the QuikStop (From Clerks) multiple times. 

Have you ever wanted to be a model? No, it’s not something I’ve ever really wanted to do. 

What years did you attend prom? I attended my junior prom my junior year & prom my senior year, did not have fun either time & wish I could go back & change it.

Would you ever apply to be on reality TV? Why? I have been telling my best friend for years we need a reality TV show or vlog. You wouldn’t believe some of the shit that happens to us/our families.

What is the best thing that has ever happened to you? Meeting my husband, he literally saved my life. I was in a really dark place when I met him & I don’t know where I would be without him or if I would even be alive. 

Do you have a hard time letting things go? Eh my husband hates this about me but no matter how bad you treat me I’m always ready to give you another chance. I believe the best in everyone & I’m always getting hurt because of it. 

What have you accomplished in life that has made you the most happy?  I graduated, I’m the first in my family to do that. I survived my horrendous childhood. I had two beautiful children. I am married to the most amazing man. I am going back to school for a degree in a field that I have dreamed about since I was 7.  Have you ever struggled with your weight? Right now. In high school I was 125lbs at my heaviest. I now weigh 151lbs, I’ve also had two kids & I no longer do ballet. I am struggling with body image issues because of my weight but I’m trying to get on track with losing it. 

Do you like to stay in your pajamas all day long? I mean if I don’t have anything I need to do then yeah I’ll stay in my PJs all day but I try to get dressed. 

In high school did you have a lot of friends? Do you still keep in touch? I had quite a few friends. There was a core group but I still keep in touch with quite a number of my friends. My best friend has been my best friend since September 2004 so like 16 years?

Do you really care about such issues as abortion, religion, and global warming?  Yes because they are inherently serious issues.

Who is the biggest womanizer you know? Hmmm, that’s a tough question because I know quite a few.

I don’t think any fear is weird, no matter what I think about it, it’s very real to that person. My fear that everyone would think is weird is grasshoppers/crickets. I hate them & will not even be in the same room as them. Like I won’t even go into the garage if there’s one in there, I also refuse to mow my lawn because they’re out there & they jump on me.

I don’t really have a favorite though, I like them all for the most part, it’s my favorite genre of movie.

What has been the most traumatic experience of your life? Does it still bother you? My boyfriend was killed by his father. They were fighting over me, my boyfriend wanted to come see me, as I was in a different state. His dad pushed him & he tripped over something & fell out the picture window on the second story, he died from his injuries. I would say it bothers me, for the longest time I was sure we were going to get married, we had planned our whole lives together & then it was ripped away from me in an instant, I didn’t even find out he died until almost a week later.

When was the last time you baked something for someone? Probably a few weeks ago, I used to love baking so much, it was my happy place. 

Do you ever spend the night at random people’s houses? When I was 19 & had just broken up with my fiance, I’m pretty sure I did. I used to go on dates with strangers all the time so I’m sure I ended up spending the night with at least one of them, I’m not proud of it but it definitely made me who I am today.

What did you eat for dinner tonight? Was it any good at all? It’s not dinnertime yet but I’m pretty sure I’m not cooking so we’re just going to eat leftovers.

Pretty sure I told one girl her new haircut made her look like a wet poodle, she sent her au pair to school to yell at the principal about it.

Have you ever completely given up on someone any time in life? Yes, a few times. Boys, ironically. My exfiance, I “gave” him back to his ex, graciously. Another time there was this guy I had the biggest crush on & we would talk for HOURS, pretty sure he knows more about me then any of my friends, but it never would have worked out no matter how much we cared about each other, I wasn’t the right religion, I’m happy to say he is happily married practicing law in NY now.

What is one thing you’re not looking forward to in the next week? The fact that there’s no school anymore for the rest of the summer.

Would you consider Christmas your favorite holiday? Eh, kinda? I like that it teaches my kids to be grateful for what they have & the fact that it brings family together.

Would you rather give someone presents or receive them?  Receive, I hate having to shop for other people & I have horrible anxiety about giving gifts.

2. Do you often get stuck behind a tractor driving somewhere out where you live? If we go out further into the coutry, yeah I imagine we would, we get stuck behind a lot of trains here though or when the bridges open.

3. Have you ever hidden alcohol, had a parent find it, and DRINK it? I’ve never had to hide alcohol. My parents were pretty lax about that, not sure I’ll have the same stance as them.

4. Do your parents tell you that if someone starts a fight with you, you can finish it? No, I’m not really a confrontational person but my friends all know that if they start it they better be able to keep up.

25. Does your state have any good sports teams?  We don’t really have any sports teams unless you’re counting college & I don’t really follow college football as much as I used to.

26. Are your parents work-o-holics?  My dad no longer works after being kicked out of the Navy, he spends his time telling me I’m a horrible mother for having biracial children & snorting coke. My mom is very hardworking but she’s not a work-o-holic.

27. Do you find yourself wearing more bright colors or neutral colors?  I’m kind of inbetween, it really depends on my mood.

28. Do you REALLY think Bush is the worst president we’ve ever had?  No, considering whose in office now & what’s been happening lately.

29. Did you go fishing a lot when you were younger? Do you now? Semi frequently? I don’t anymore.
