Materials
Wood
the wood is the nature material, it can be used after it processed. wood meet above criteria of sustainable materials. it provides many options for us to choose, any type has different hardness and textures. Hardwoods are commonly used in the construction of walls, ceilings and floors, while softwoods are often used to make doors, furniture and window frames. Some examples of the most popular hardwoods include oak, maple, mahogany, cherry, walnut, and teak.
Stone
the stone also meet above criteria of sustainable materials. and it’s stronger than the wood, but it doesn’t feel as natural as wood. Many types of stones are available for buildings such as basalt, marble, limestone, sandstone, quartzite, travertine, slate, gneiss, laterite, and granite which can be used as construction materials.
Bamboo
Bamboo has the weak stability compares to other materials. It limits bamboo’s ability to build large structures, but I think bamboo is the perfect material for fanciful little buildings.
sustainable concretes
the Green Charcoal bio-bricks are very porous and the air they contain allows plants to develop into them.
SELF-HEALING CONCRETE
they are experimenting with a sort of living concrete, that is essentially equal to standard concrete, but has bacteria added into the mix. These bacteria wake up when they come in contact with water and oxygen . They then start producing limestone and essentially heal the crack, leaving only a slight scar on the surface.
5.
Mix hemp fibres with natural glue and some water, and you’ll get an innovative building material! Its name is hemp concrete and — besides being a sustainable option — it also retains all the positive qualities we look for in building materials. It is indeed sturdy, has good thermal and acoustic insulation qualities and is fire resistant.
And one of its biggest sustainable properties is that of being CO2 negative, namely absorbing more CO2 than the one it emits.

Size of the site
this is a screen shot I got from the google map. from the resource I’ve got, I can roughly calculate the length and width of this area.
Illumination area
Analys site illumination area
this area is the most exposed to sunlight. The growth of crops requires photosynthesis. Therefore, crops should be planted here.
The site is located on the hillside, and the illumination area are different to the flat ground.
Cup of thoughts of how I gonna build on the hill
I chose to fill yp the hill to create a flate space.

statement
Sustainability is important for us to live in a comfortable environment longer. The combination between greens and our living environment is a method of sustainability. Therefore, I want to create a education space that can teach or make people have a knowledge of agricultural and planting. Then they can add enjoyment to life while contributing to sustainability. And also get a sense of accomplishment when they harvesting

Brief
For her ritual, it has a feeling of claim and chill. I got an idea when she stirring the egg. The egg turned into a vortex shape, which was formed by her force, so I want to have a strong vortex in my design. But at the same time the egg is soft. Therefore, I aim to combine toughness and softness in a chilling space can express vortex.

In this final design, I turned the shape protruding from the wall into a sofa. keep the top part. The softness of the sofa allows people to lie down or sit. make people comfortable. I made a wall into a mirror, which allows natural light to cover the entire room. I didn’t change anything else.

Feedback From the teacher
After sending my product to my teacher. She gave me the feedback which is pretty helpful and made me think bit further.
Designing a space is not just like adding something on the wall, it have to let a person have the feeling of substitution. My wall design compares to the space design is more like a pattern on the wall. it’s not prominent.
