Ooh, scary! An ancient evil sorcerer coming after her? Illyana wouldn’t want to find out what that’s like, right?

So, the big question–will this “be continued in the pages of Savage Avengers” with or without Illyana?

I could certainly sympathize with Duggan for seeing a chance to use Illyana here and grabbing it, regardless of the main book. Don’t expect we’ll see Illyana any sort of regularly in Savage Avengers, but whenever this whole Kulan Gath story reaches it big finale, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Illyana portal in as Strange’s secret back-up either. Could make for a great call-back to the story reprinted here. Fingers crossed!
