Ex Popstar!Reader was on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Her whole family shocks her by being in the audience. She had just brought Kylie and Mama Kelce and Mama Green with her since she knew Riley was in a different state prepping for yet another show and it’s only a day. She didn’t want to bother anyone too much especially since she’s a big girl— she can handle a talk show with Kelly fucking Clarkson. But Riley’s there with her babies. Her brothers are there being rowdy. Her dad is there teary eyed.

They all underestimated her because she was more worried about her outfit and collecting abandoned golf balls. But the second Riley gave her one of his clubs and she swung without a practice swing, they all knew they were screwed.

What is one Kelce!readers things she picked up in the military and now it’s just part of her day to day life as civilian, like what’s part of her routine that even with a kid she can’t drop it?
Making the bed is the main one after getting up. Riley has woken to her making it while he’s still in it. Did he do anything about it? No, he went back to sleep after getting a kiss.
She has to be early for things and sometimes it’s way early. She just finds it rude to be late especially if it’s a constant thing.
She still needs to do PT in the morning or at least some form of exercise. It’s usually just going for a walk or a run when she wasn’t pregnant. She finds that helps her to stay focus or to have a good start to her day.

Kelce!Reader was drunk. She was out with some navy buddies in civies. They ended up at a tattoo shop. Everyone was pretty much getting something done. She somehow managed to get riley to send her a photo of his handwriting on a sticky note. Riley couldn’t be more confused but ya know, he bagged a weirdo. Some weird requests happen from time to time. It’s nothing new. He doesn’t find out exactly what she did until he sees her a month later.

It was in Alabama in his nightstand drawer. His mom found it for him after she got a panicked call from him saying “I proposed but I can’t find the ring!”
They didn’t tell anybody except his mom. Riley was a little embarrassed that he didn’t have the ring. Robertson!Reader was fine with that because she got that quiet bliss with him before they pounced.
And then everybody finds out at the second proposal that she said yes which turned into a big family party.

He went around like a door to door salesman asking anybody and everyone. Si ended up tagging along with him.
He proposed twice. Once in a duck blind when she was talking about babies and he just had to ask her. However, he forgot the ring and couldn’t find it for the life of him. It was actually in Alabama and they were in Louisiana. The Robertsons women found out that the men were giving him ideas that weren’t at all romantic. So the second time, he proposes in a decorated gazebo that’s near a lake on her parent’s property. Her family is waiting patiently in the house watching. They also brought his family down to witness it.

No, she thinks it’s embarrassing for him to not know who she is or was at that time. She still holds him in a high regard even though they dated a max of three weeks. Plus this man was not at all keeping up with pop music or pop culture (still kind of doesn’t).

It took a lot of convincing for her to tell him. And when she finally does, she says (still very much pissed with the guy) “well, he fucking cheated on me. He told me we were going to get married after graduating high school. But he had the nerve of sleeping with two other girls telling me he was waiting for our wedding night. So I cut his brand new truck tires because I don’t think I would’ve gotten away with guttin’ him like a fish.” Riley was a bit shocked because this girl is a sweetheart and he hasn’t seen her so mad before.
She was sent a selfie by one of the girls. She dug down deeper and found that there’s more than one girl in his DMs while he was asleep. And that took her over the edge.
They were fucking pissed because you don’t mess with the Robertsons and especially not one of their kids. But they took a step back after finding out that somebody had exacted their revenge.
