rant
i try not to be all "people are dying" but sometimes i can't help it. i just saw a vid about how some russian dude has 45 million dollars worth of famous paintings locked in a box and there is acid rigged to spill on it at any moment he chooses because he's mad that the dude who made wikileaks is in prison. honestly. i don't really care. part of me thinks it's a little sad and wants those paintings to survive but the majority of me can recognize that the world won't end if they burn. like there are literally people dying right now and our country is going to shit. people are unemployed and becoming homeless and losing their children. why are these paintings worth more than all of us combined? it's literally a fucking canvas with paint on it. i get it, they're pretty. do we have pictures of them? k then we're good. like it's just not that big of a deal. picasso isn't gonna roll over in his grave because one of his paintings was ruined. i like to acknowledge that we can still care about the little things while also caring about war and shit, which is absolutely true and there are stupid things that i focus on daily (i'm really into pop culture and celebrity drama and shit) but every once in a while i see something like this and have to roll my eyes. seriously what are we doing.

i'm also upset with the allegedly rapunzel casting but you bitches need to stop lyinggggg. if i see one more person say some bullshit like "avantika just does fit like her" or "avantika doesn't have her face shape" i'm gonna kill myself. that's a load of shit. she absolutely has the spirit of rapunzel and she looks like her. the problem is that she's not white. she's not white and she doesn't have long blonde hair. i know most people are scared to say it bc they're afraid of being called racist but i'm not! it's a horrible casting. i'm taking avantika out of the equation bc i like her a lot and this has nothing to do with her at the end of the day. rapunzel is my favorite princess and tangled is one of like three disney movies i've actually seen and like. i am not afraid the admit that i want the live action actress to be white. she is white and skinny with big green eyes and long blonde hair and that is what i want to see. i also would loveeee to see brand new disney princess who is indian. or black. or mexican. for the final time. MOST POC DONT WANT SCRAPS. just give me my white rapunzel and then write a new fucking story.
