OFFICIAL NOTICE: BLOG CLOSED
(This is an official notice that this blog is hereby closed. I will be closing the ask box (not that it ever got any use), as well as any other forms of communication.
I'm not going to delete the blog, instead just mark anything that needs to be marked properly.
I've lost my muse for this blog, and the last straw was finding out that the only person I ever had any serious interaction with blocked me without explanation.
I'm beyond tired and disgusted with trying to keep this blog going for absolutely nothing.
Please do NOT try to message me, you won't get a response.
I'd say it was fun, but that would be a lie. This was nothing but a waste of my time, with nothing but regret.
Goodbye.)

(Well, I should've seen this coming. I've completely lost my muse for this blog. Haven't had a single character related thought for nearly a week.
I think the overall lack of progress has been a major contributing factor. At this point, I truly have no idea where to go from here, if there is anywhere to go from here.
I don't know whether to take a break or just call it quits. I don't even have the muse to try a new starter post, that's how bad it is.
I've had advice given to me, but even if I try to follow it, I get nowhere. So, at this point...I really feel like I'm at a dead end with nowhere to go.
A blank page with nothing to write on it. A void. That's it, really.)

Becca looked back to her phone after reading a few pages, put a bookmark in place, and set the book down an empty shelf on the nearby tire display.
She picked her phone up and read the last message, before setting it back down, not wanting to keep Riley too long from what she needed to do with further conversation.
It was true...she was lonely. Aside from her boss and co-workers, she didn't have that many friends. Well...there is also that one receptionist at the Nissan dealer down the street, where she gets original parts for her car.
But Becca saw Riley as one of the best friends she had, even considering the friends she has back home in Australia.
Combine that with that loneliness, one could say that Becca's fondness for Riley could be more than just desire for friendship, and even though Becca wasn't 100% sure about that, she's definitely thought about it, and has certainly considered it.
And her face showed it, as it was a light shade of red. She looked and noticed it in a mirror.
"Crikey! Worked up from a simple text conversation..." she stated to herself. "...gotta keep it cool, can't be looking like that, especially around Riley. She'll think there's something wrong with me."
Becca picked up her cellphone, after having had a conversation with one of her co-workers at the station, and started typing away on a message...
'G'day. A little kookaburra told me you happened to be around. It's been a while...wanna drop by, or maybe meet up somewhere to catch up?'
After sending the message, she stood by the entrance to the Pro Pit garage, waiting for a response.

The first response made Becca's heart skip a beat for a moment...and not in a positive way.
'Whoa...no need to be so brash...he didn't even say it out loud, rather just whispered to me. You nearly gave me a heart attack for a moment.'
'I can fit that into my schedule. Give me a heads up when you're up to drop by, I'll put on some gyūdon and curry...unless you want me to just get some from the Matsuya shop a couple blocks up the street from here.'
'I'll try not to be too lonely, but just know that I missed you quite a lot, so it won't be easy. Keep in touch between now and then?'
Becca set her phone down and dug through a bag of stuff she bought from a nearby bookstore, pulling out a romance novel.
"I swear, my honesty makes me say the darndest things...hope I didn't make her uneasy with that statement..."
Becca picked up her cellphone, after having had a conversation with one of her co-workers at the station, and started typing away on a message...
'G'day. A little kookaburra told me you happened to be around. It's been a while...wanna drop by, or maybe meet up somewhere to catch up?'

(Alright, I'm in the mood to get some input. Followers, mutual or not, non-followers.
I would love to see what people are looking for in an RP, specifically in a manga/anime setting, where my muse is set in.
Feel free to send me any suggestions you've got. My ask box is open, as are my DMs.)

Becca couldn't help but chuckle when she read Riley's response, a bright smile on her face.
'The one who brought you up in the first place didn't mention you by name, rather just described you. It was my boss who actually recognized that it was you.'
'Not quite new, just new to me, but there's one of those American diner-type restaurants with a big chain not too far from me. How about I send you the location and we meet there?'
In fact, Becca hadn't even been there before, herself, so it would be a first for her, and she thought a place like that might help Riley feel a bit more at home.
Becca picked up her cellphone, after having had a conversation with one of her co-workers at the station, and started typing away on a message...

(While I still haven't gotten anything really started on here, I'm feeling a bit more confident at this time, maybe I'll try to get a few more things out there, test the waters and such.
And maybe a new post to promote the blog.
I'm in a good mood, so...why not, right?)

(Hello again. Just checking in, motivation is still low. Not that anyone's noticed I wasn't here.
But, I don't think I'm ready to give up on this just yet.
If anyone is willing and able to assist me in getting this blog up and going, it would be VERY greatly appreciated.
I see folks posting and interacting, and that makes me smile. Wish I could go about doing the same.
Anyway...that's really about all I've got to say at the moment.)

(Hello, once more. Just wanted to give a little update. Things...really haven't changed at this point. My drive for this blog is low, though not AS low as before.
Also, I feel like I might have figured something else out, that might explain why it's been like this.
To be honest...I'm actually a bit intimidated by the majority of blogs I see. That includes those I follow and those I don't, but have seen across the site.
I feel like...if I can overcome that, I might be able to keep this blog going. So, that's good news, I guess.
This blog's not dead yet.)

(I think, at this point, my motivation for this blog is pretty much dead.
Any effort I put into trying to get anything going falls flat, coming on here feels like a waste of time.
It's like there's no potential here, just a dead end. Hard to make progress with anything when you can't get anything off the ground.
It's almost like this blog was doomed for failure from the very start.
Perhaps it's time to just draw the curtains and put this blog to rest, because if I couldn't make anything happen in the three weeks I've had this blog, how am I gonna get anything to happen going forward?
It's possible this might be one of the last posts on this blog, unless an unlikely miracle happens.)

(Oh, and blogs that list themselves as Private, Mutual only...anytime I come across those, if I have any interest...I just don't bother, because I know they won't want anything to do with a blog like mine.
That's not counting fandomless OCs, if they interest me, I'll follow them, even if they're listed as such. I feel a bit more comfortable following those blogs, tbh.)

(You know what? I think I also figured out another reason why I'm struggling to get anything going here.
I don't follow that many blogs, because when I search through tags for RP blogs to follow, particularly the Anime RP and Manga RP tags...most of what shows up are either those blogs that exist solely to promote Discord RP servers (no thank you), or ones of series that I have absolutely no interest in (specifically, the tags are flooded with Naruto RP blogs and such, and I lost interest in that MANY years ago).
And there's the fact that a few of the few blogs I do follow at this point don't follow back. Add that all together, and you've really got a recipe for disaster, no matter how you slice it.
But, hey. I'm gonna keep soldering on, and hopefully I'll have a major shift in my luck with this stuff. Just gotta keep positive.)

I read everyone’s rules before following. I read everyone’s rules when they update them. I re-read people’s rules if time has passed, and I want to make sure we’re still on par. It’s not that hard. Please reblog if you do the same.
