Dude I get you're angry but your supposed "innocent family father" murdered her child by not bringing him to the hospital and instead putting his injured body somewhere else. The implication of Louis saying “It’s not perfect”, but Lestat only hearing that Louis is dissatisfied, which translates to “I’m not perfect” as in Lestat feels it’s his fault that Louis is unhappy, which spirals back to Lestat saying it was a miracle that Nicki had ever loved him, but it was inevitable that Nicki would grow to hate him, because Lestat’s light was “too much” and harmed the ones he loves as in “I’m a lot.
