i do enjoy "living weapon" characters but specifically living weapons who did in fact do absolutely horrific things which at least a part of them enjoyed and thought was good and right at the time, and that no amount of not knowing any better or guilt they feel in hindsight will ever make up for. i love living weapons who are "irredeemable", and no it's not their fault that they were made that way or pointed in the directions they were by the hand that wielded them, and yes they are victims, but so were their victims. living weapons who some people will never be able to forgive, but who still wake up every day and try to do better than what's expected of them. a sword that uses its blade to cut wheat to make bread for the people who once lived in fear of its arc falling on their heads.

Loyal/Lousy Three’s Revival

Okay but did we ever actually get any explanation for how they came back to life? I’ve seen a few theories, one of them being it was the Tera Crystals in Ogerpon’s mask, but I feel like we would have seen that ability alluded to elsewhere if that was the case. (And Indigo Disk confirms that Kitakami’s Crystal Pool showing you the deceased is time travel, not anything to do with resurrection.)

Another theory I’ve seen is it was Pecharunt’s doing, and while there’s nothing in the game to say it CAN bring back the dead - it’s powers seem to revolve around controlling people - it does feel more credible than the crystal theory? The light shown at the Three’s revival was purple, and Pecharunt is their master too.

Or maybe they were just petty enough to revive themselves out of spite because a kid slightly disrespected their grave, it wouldn’t be out of character at this point.

okay is it me or do they seem to be suddenly giving legendaries genders

like. the loyal/lousy three are all 100% male. ogerpon is 100% female. terapagos has a 50/50 male to female gender ratio

i can’t say i personally love it; the legendaries being (usually) genderless was such a cool quirk to me, and really helped make them feel special, and the fact that it doesn’t seem to be present in the dlc legendaries is somewhat disappointing

Uh… I inherited the farm from my uncle. He isn’t around anymore, so it’s just me now… I don’t really like the idea of working alongside people, and I can get the work done by myself too… so there’s really no need to get anyone else to help.

Hickory Ask Event

So, a short while ago I found some WIPs of PMD portraits for Hickory, and I decided to finish them off and make use of them, hence this surprise ask event!

There’s no strict time limit! I’m aiming to have it finished by Christmas at latest, but I’m going to be flexible about this! Please do be patient if it takes me a while to answer your ask though! I will also be trying to make art for this event; I can’t promise new art in every post, but I’ll be aiming for that!

Feel free to send asks in character from your Pokémon OCs if you want, and feel free to reply to Hickory’s responses! I’m using this as practice for role playing skills, so I’m genuinely more than happy to have longer conversations!

Keep any asks SFW please, but mild swearing is okay! Just no hateful language! Otherwise? Feel free to ask Hickory anything!
